How many people can I include in my policy?

You can purchase insurance for parties of 10 online. Call up to see how many additional people can be added to your policy.

Am I covered if I go on a cruise?

Yes, although you will need to pick a cruise specific policy. Take note, if you are cruising in Australian waters you must select the Pacific region when purchasing your policy online.

Am I covered for skiing and my equipment?

Yes, purchasing the Wintersports package provides cover for skiing along with ski equipment, ski prepaid skip passes and ski hire and lessons.

Can I pay to reduce or cancel my excess?

Yes but only on your rental vehicle (available only if Premier or Premier Plus level of cover is selected).

What additional extras are there?

Additional specified items cover allows you to increase the level of cover for high-value items (up to $4,000 for single items or $6,000 for combined items).

Am I covered if my tour company collapses?

Yes, if you purchase Premier or Premier Plus you will be covered for some remuneration for financial default of a travel provider. You would not be covered for the financial default of any travel agent, tour wholesaler, tour operator or booking agents.

I'm not an Australian resident- can I buy cover?

No, this insurance is only available to travellers who are citizens or permanent residents of Australia or non-permanent residents who have a valid Medicare, Private Health Fund or Overseas Student Travel Insurance in Australia.

What size moped or motorbike am I covered to ride overseas?

You are covered to ride a motorcycle with an engine capacity of 125cc or less. You must also hold a current Australian Motor Cycle Licence to be covered.

How long is their single trip cover for?

12 months.

Can I extend my policy from overseas?

If you decide to extend your cover whilst travelling contact on (0)2 3999 918 or email them on [email protected].

Do they cover for my rental vehicle excess?

Yes. If your rental vehicle is stolen or damaged, you will be covered for the cost of the excess you are required to pay to the rental company.

What is their cooling off period?

14 days.
