I had to cancel my trip to South Africa due to some family issues. I was afraid I would lose money, but Travel Insurance Direct came to my rescue and reimbursed the cancellation cost as promised in their policy benefits. So relieved to have purchased their policy.

Whenever I go travelling, I will go with covermore. I did not usually purchase travel insurance before, but after my friend told me of the dangers of travelling without one, I purchased one with covermore. And 'unlucky' enough, I injured myself in france while backpacking in europe. I simply went online and the claims process was easy. Did everything online and it was hassle free. The claim was approved and paid within a couple of weeks. I advice anybody to travel to get travel insurance and more importantly, get covermore.

I purchased an Annual Multi-trip policy form Insure and Go for as I travel often for work. It was all good when I did not make a claim. However, I once had an accident and was hospitalised for that. My claim was only released 5 months after the date of filing and the paperwork was really tedious. The process was very frustrating and disheartening. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Worldcare is my default travel insurance because of their simple policies and good service. I am a frequent traveller so I purchased an annual multi trip policy. I had to make a claim for damaged luggage and I wasn't dissapointed. I will be renewing my policy when it expires.

One of the worst decisions that I have ever made is to buy from Travel Insurance Direct. During my last trip I lost my baggage and spent the remainder of the trip calling customer service to file a claim. After numerous phone calls and emails I was told that my baggage could not be claimed as it was lost due to my negligence. I would never advice anybody to waste their time or money on Travel Insurance Direct as I have.

Dealing with the staff of Downunder insurance has been a harrowing experience. Till the time I bought the policy, they regularly followed up and the documentation process was very smooth. But now that I have sent a claim, nobody seems to be available. Their phones lines are always busy and even after sending a written complaint, no action has been taken.

I took out a policy with Columbus Direct for my trip to South America. The staff were helpful and explained the terms and conditions of my cover. I didn't have to make a claim this trip but I am happy with what was written in the product disclosure and certificate of insurance. I selected them after doing some research on the internet and found them to be cheaper and provide good cover.

My suitcase was damaged on my travels. After my return to Australia, I made a claim with all relevant documentations but did not receive a reply for 3 weeks. I contacted claims, but they said they did not receive my claim. 3 months later still no reply. I will look for other insurers when I travel next time.

When travelling to India a few months ago, I suffered from a severe Asthma attack. Thank goodness I had the Fastcover insurance. They paid all the medical expenses and the claim process was extremely smooth and stress-free. Now with Fastcover, I can travel freely without worrying about my Asthma.

I was going to Europe for 3 weeks and planned a skiing trip in the Alps for a week. I wanted to get cover for skiing and I found InsureandGo on compareinsurance. I rang them up just to check up on them. The customer service representative was very helpful and answered all my questions promptly. I purchased it online later. It was really quick and simple.

My experience with Fastcover has been very disappointing. Before the journey, I was told that in case of any emergency the money would be refunded within 24 hrs. But it has been almost 6 months that I am following up with them for my rightful claim. Every time that I call up, I have to leave a recorded complain in their system which says that somebody will revert immediately, but to no avail. Last week, an apology letter was sent for the delay caused, but an apology won’t help. I need my money back.

The customer service officer on the phone was extremely nice. They make you feel like a person, not just another numer. I have not left on my trip yet, but if the service stays the way it is now, we will not need to consider any other insurers. The price was resonably cheap too. Very happy.
