I unfortunately had to put 2 claims over two years (from one lost camera and one stolen passport) Both claims processes were extremely painful. I was told many conflicting pieces of information from the claims team, which both times greatly extended the claims process unnecessarily. At one point, I spoke to a claims officer and he was relentlessly aggressive and rude. He spoke over me, and was happy to tell me that I was the person who was making the process hard for myself, after absolutely no guidance from 1cover as I put the claim together myself. Never would I ever recommend 1cover to anyone. The experience that I had makes it impossible for me to comprehend anyone having a positive claim experience with 1cover.

We lost my wife's passport in Europe. One cover were helpful and courteous in giving us really good advice. When we returned to Australia the claim was approved and paid in full in a couple of weeks (over Xmas). We are very happy with the service and would be happy to recommend them to anyone. I do not work for One Insure , this is just my honest review.

We've used TID a few times. The first for a 'non adverse event' family trip to Fiji. We were really happy with how easy and simple the process was, and the price was spot on. So we used them again.

We had to make a claim when we were in Chiang Mai, my daughter caught a bad case of gastro the night before our flight to another country. It was so stressful!

The hospital wanted her admitted and hydrated, as she was too weak to get on the plane. So all we needed was a certificate from the hospital to say she was unfit for travel and it was covered.

We were able to claim her and my flights, hospital costs and transport to the airport. The rest of my family (an adult and two children) were not going to be covered, so I told them to catch their flights and we'd meet them there when she was better, so we didn't really lose out.

Would definitely use again.

I had the misfortune of having to cancel my flight and rebook due to Qantas not being able to get me back to Sydney. Columbus denied my claim because the reason for the flight cancellation then delay was fuel shortage. The said they didn't cover for that! How ridiculous completely out of my control and I am only looking to be refunded the gap between my Qantas refund and the extra I had to pay for a one way ticket home. But before denying my claim they made me get not 1 BUT 3 letters from Qantas explaining the cause of the delay. What a waste of time.

I wasn't sure what insurance I needed for my trip to Cambodia but these took the time to explain their policies to me in layman's terms. They were the cheapest too, so I picked them and hoped for the best.Unfortunately I got food poisoning in Siem Reap and had to cancel a tour. Travel Insurance Saver procesed my claim to cover the cost of the tour really quickly, so I wasn't out of pocket for long.

This would be the worst company I have ever dealt with. We arrived in the US, and my wife suffered a medical emergency. We saw a medical professional and paid for the bill and medication. Arrive home after the holiday, made a claim, and this is where the disaster starts. We are almost going on to 3 months with continual delays from Cover-More. Their customer service is extremely rude, when we ring up to get an update on where the claim is, they are abrupt and say 10 business days you'll get a response. Sure enough, 10 business days past and we get an email to say its been referred across to yet another department... this has been going on and on... try and ring a manager and complain, and they'll put you back in your place and become quite aggressive.

This company obviously works on the model of take customers money, hope they don't claim, WIN, if they do claim.. delay them over and over until they give up WIN... read any review about this company and it's all consistent, rubbish service, rude staff.

Go with another company please... don't use cover-more.. save the heartache...

To be cautious that its definition of trip means "pre-paid scheduled public transport or rental vehicle hire", if you drive your own car for a road trip, you are not qualified for any claim!

Compared 5 or 6 policies, but this one was by far the best for the price. Happy to recommend

Really easy to get a price and take out the insurance. Great rates and very easy to make contact with them.

We paid our holiday with our credit card and QBE was the insurer. My husband fell while on holiday in South Africa and we had to change our flights while he was hospitalised. We emailed them as soon as we could and the people from the customer service department were wonderful. We had constant communication and they kept asking if there was anything they could help with even while they were assessing the claim. We just had to pay everything up front while they were still assessing. We submitted all the receipts and documents as soon as we were back in Australia - they paid our full claim less the excess 9 working days after submitting all the documents.

Got a good deal of info on options and a great deal for price. Highly personable with great customer service.
