This was the first time I had used 1Cover for my overeas travel with the family. It was so easy to access online with a comprehensive overview of what we were covered for without the jargon. The insurance cover was very compretatively priced and the purchasing process was simple and straightforward. Will definately use 1Cover next time we travel.

ICover insured my pre-existing medical condition. Getting the cover was relatively straightforward and quick, which was good because I left it until pretty much the last minute. The premium was excellent value.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with the Travel Insurance provided by 1Cover. I recently had to claim against my policy for rental vehicle excess, and I fully expected to have nothing but trouble having the claim approved, if indeed at all. I was more than pleasantly surprised by the manner in which my claim was managed by 1Cover. From my first enquiry they were courteous and clear about what I had to do to lodge the claim. After lodgement, my claim was processed very promptly and I received a full statement in the mail detailing the breakdown of the payment I received. I now recommend 1Cover to all my family and friends.

The claims process with 1Cover was the smoothest that I have ever experienced. The medical claim was completed over the telephone and I did not even have to post the original invoices to 1Cover. This clearly demonstrates that 1Cover respect that their client's time is valuable and they ensure that their claims process is not cumbersome or long-winded like some other insurers. I Cover have got my travel insurance business for the forseeable future.

Family holiday to Fiji in 2010. As we arrive at at our island and resort, we discover that two of our three bags have not been loaded onto the boat. A call to the marina confirms that they were stolen in transit. Spent 6 months going backwards and forwards with Cover More who wanted receipts for everything including the bags; photos would not do. Eventually agreed to pay out, though not the replacement costs of everything... just the value at the time. $10 does not replace a $110 Polo. Very disappointed. Gave impression that all would be good in the event of something happening. The opposite was true. Every effort to mitigate and minimise claim.

During Xmas and Newyear break we went to Kangaroo Island of SA from Yuendumu, NT. During our 12 days tripe we rented a car from Budget, at a begining stage we were ready to spent $35.00 per day for comprehansive car insurance. But later on some told us about 1 Cover then we looked on it and we found much much more cheaper deal for the whole travel insurance including car rental insurance as well. Which was 80 times cheaper than Budet offer. Then we did 1 cover. We were very much relaxd during our journey because of that cover. I'm not joking please if you want to be in peace during the travel period please do 1 Cpver and be relaxed. Thanks 1 Cover and it was our first experience with you.

It was very cheap, quick and comparable to other companies. I took it out on line using their very easy to navigate website. No need to talk to anyone. It's the second time I have used 1Cover and I will definitely be using them again. Rebecca.

I got a super deal for an annual multi-trip policy with 1Cover through living social in December. The deal came through just when I needed it and was slightly cheaper than the standard multi-trip. I phoned them to clarify a few details before purchasing and the staff seemed to know their stuff. Best thing is I'm covered Worldwide for any holidays I take for the rest of the year. I'll post again if I have any claims experience in the future.

Have never written a review before but feel I need to warn people about Columbus Direct. This company recently left me for 10 days in a rural Vietnam hospital with a worsening condition requiring blood transfusions and surgery. I notified them on being admitted to hosp and 10 days later organised my own transport to the airport, flights, and medically assitance. This company offer a policy that promises on the delivery of certain things one requires to feel safe whie travelling. My experience was that they did not deliver and were more than happy to leave me in a very dangerous medical situation while they tried to find ways to get out of paying anything.
