We have used Tick insurance many times & in April of 2018 whilst we were in Thailand my wife become very ill. Tick repatriated us back to Australia accompanied by an Australian registered nurse in case of emergency. They upgraded our return flights to business class from Chiang Mai - Bangkok - Sydney then to Adelaide. I could not have asked for better service & Tick met all my wife's medical/hospital costs & covered all the fares! In a difficult situation Tick were simply marvellous!

Spoke to Allianz before agreeing to the expense, they still found a way to not pay out. All I can say is the policy is very very carefully worded to exclude every possible payout.

Took out Zoom travel insurance for son who was travelling alone to Europe on a school exchange. Added the ski package as I knew he'd be boarding while there. Well son had an accident and busted some bones, Zoom took care of the lot, upgraded flights to ensure comfort, regular updates on status, easy process of receipts, great all round service. I won't look anywhere else for travel insurance in the future, it'll be straight to Zoom, good work team!

Very friendly and supportive call centre/staff who assisted with the recovery of my injury by providing me with clear advice and assistance.

Following a change of flights that incurred additional costs I lodged a claim with 1cover to cover the extra expense. The claim was approved within 24 hours - excellent!

The guys have been just great. Contacted them about my claim and they got it sorted quickly. If you need to ask for anything they will help.

I found these guys through Facebook and they were superb at getting me a personalised quote. It was eveything I needed and was priced so well I could'nt go past. Fortunately didn't need to claim but the sales staff were so good on the phone I am sure it would have been Easy as well!

Received poor customer service whilst trying to cancel a policy (forgot to add something to the policy so we had to cancel and got a refund) via email correspondence. I felt like I was given a run around by the agent when a much earlier resolution should of taken place. Despite the poor service, I went ahead and repurchased the policy.
The policy was easy to purchase and was bought at a reasonable price.

I recently had to make a claim for a trip to Bali, where myself and my niece got severe Bali Belly. We needed a doctor to attend our hotel on two separate occasions. The entire claims process was very user-friendly and so easy! I was able to submit all relevant documents online and my claim was approved promptly. Staff were very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Zoom to anyone travelling overseas.

I have never had to make a claim as yet, but Tick are substantially cheaper than a lot of other Travel Insurance sites. They seem very professional too.

Had some great help from a number of staff over email. Claims experience marked down as it would have been useful to be notified that I received a payment into my account over 3 years ago, so that I wasn't surprised when contacted by a debt collector.

I have been using 1cover for a while now and have claimed once with no problem at all. I shall continue to use 1cover great value.
