These people upon selling you a policy failed to inform me that in you’ve funeral outside the Australia and New Zealand, you are unable to make a claim do to funeral re scheduling this type stealing. Be careful on choosing your type of travel insurance, now the issue will be taken to fair trading.

Even though the policy was taken out months before the injury which required cancellation of the policy, the required verification for the operation seemed unreasonable. One policy for two people with a $100.00 access that was deducted twice seemed unreasonable. Once bitten twice shy. Never again Insurance Go.

I was sick in India and and on my return to Australia I thought I would be entitled to some sort of return it was a total waste of time after I sent all the proof of Doctor's bills copy of passport etc. to be told I was not entitled to any return. I will not be wasting my time again.

Mobile phone was damaged by salt water immersion - I accidentally dropped it in the water, however, I was not covered for something that I could have prevented ie by holding on tighter. My brand new thousand dollar phone was not covered. Even though I had top cover and thought I was covered for everything. Not happy!

Obviously some clients have had issues however my experiences have been hassle-free. Typhoon hit Yokohama the day our cruise was due to return. Our return home was delayed by 3 days. Fully compensated for 5 star hotel, all meals, replacement flights, transfers (that we would have had to pay for if not delayed). 60% replacement on camera broken on a cruise. My daughter required medical treatment in St. Petersburg. All medical fees, pharmaceuticals, transport costs, extension of hotel accommodation by extra day (10 pm train departure) all with zero excess. A 75 yr old client and his partner were fully compensated for flights, cruise, accommodations & prepaid tours after requiring surgery for a thrombosis. $100 excess. As always fully read the PDS prior to purchasing and relying upon any insurance policy.

I found this insurance company to be good value for money. Everything you would need for insurance seemed to be covered here compared to other companies

Zoom is an Insurance company that cares about its customers, as we have received an email upon return, stating if we want to claim, etc! It had the best value for money as we googled for comparison and we will recommend to other friends and relatives!

I tried buying insurance from one of your reps over email and what a joke. She couldn't give me a detailed invoice so i could bank transfer or give my credit card details over email. Is this the 1900s or what... get it together and get a better way of organising payment. Also 3 days gap is such a joke for residential already overseas! I mean you are already price gouging whats three days. Anyways im stuck with you now and wont be back

Will not cover any items damaged by water, buyer beware... I am sure there are other companies who offer better coverage.

After an awful experience being robbed in Italy,1cover looked after our needs and covered most of our losses, I hope it never happens again but next time we will keep all our receipts of travel and hotels, that we were inconvenienced by.
