VOID AT ALL COSTS! They received all my information, approved for me to get my phone repaired, then once I paid for repairs, turned around and said I am not eligible. Despite knowing all my information and telling me to get it repaired to begin with.

You could have told me this BEFORE instructing me to pay for repairs! Now I am out $330. Please avoid at all costs! Absolutely pathetic and doesn't even deserve one star.

The worst travel insurance company. Not even worth paying for insurance through them as have spent more on the insurance and excess to receive nothing in return. Insurance $200, excess for stolen electrical item $250 and refund per electrical item $250

Do not take out insurance with this company, they are crooks and do not honor the wording in their own policies.

Waste of money find every exclusion possible and way to not pay out the policy. Do not waste your money not worth it

Filed a claim, after going back and forth to provide the information asked for(which took 4 months) claim still denied. I work for a at will state, meaning you can be terminated from employment for no reason. This happened to me 11.5 months at company, I had to cancel my trip due to financial concerns and needing to find new employment. Denied for claim, reason, need to be employed 12 months at same company minimum. Fine print allows them to deny claims for basically everything.

Why pay $120 for insurance to not be covered for the fault on Jetstars behalf.
This company couldn’t help me. Waste of your time and money. Non speaking English phone consultant, waited on hold for 37min. The consultant was no help what so ever, it was if she was against me and not working with me to assist in claiming the extra $1525 I paid for flights with a different air line.
Save yourself the money and go through a reliable company who covers flight changes.

I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased this insurance. My travel companion became infected with COVID and I developed a chronic cough just before the trip. We couldn’t travel in these conditions. AIG ask us to submit a doctors note. Did that. They (in violation of Hepa) stated that this was not enough information. They wanted my doctor to submit my diagnosis and treatment information. Did that. Well they disapproved my claim because my loss occurred 2 days before the trip. This doesn’t make any sense at all. I called the claim agent to discuss this. She told me to submit more documentation. There is no more documentation that can explain getting too sick for the trip prior to the trip. I asked to speak with a supervisor because she couldn’t give me any reasonable information. She said there was no supervisor available. (Liar) I hung up and called again and spoke to a more knowledgeable representative (John). He was very polite and professional. He advised me to submit a letter of appeal. Long story short, I still don’t have a refund for my hotel and flight from this insurance company. I’m sure that if I file an appeal with them it still won’t work. They are just common theives.

Beware of this scam company. Despite advertising on the airline page they will not cover COVID! Here is a direct quote for the denial email!

your trip was cancelled due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It is noted that your policy became effective on 7/6/2021. The COVID-19 outbreak was declared a pandemic on 03/11/2020. As the effective date of your policy falls after the pandemic declaration, we have determined that the cancellation of your trip is not an “Unforeseen” event as defined in your insurance policy.

They'll take your money and wash their hands of you. No assistance what so ever and after many calls to them, they just tell us over the phone that they can't help us.
Luckily the flight ended up being cancelled and the airline stepped up and gave us flight credit.

Total bull, criminals under the guise of insurance, refused to pay out because I cant travel due to Covid, saying I knew the travel restrictions were in place at the time I booked, £1500 they have stolen from me, and no voucher on offer, they knew travel restrictions were in place at the time I booked, so how many more have lost their hard earned cash to these crooks, wish I could rate them zero. Financial ombudsman next, these thief's can't be let away with this! Up date, I have been in touch with the Ombudsman, who informed me we have to go through AIG complaint procedure and with their final decision only then can we proceed to the Ombudsman....sounds hopeful though.

I have a straightforward hospital bill, yet for various bureaucratic reasons I am still having to deal with the insurance company over a year later. They never seem to have any information about my claims when I call and constantly transfer me to someone else or give me conflicting advice. Horrible customer experience.
