The best cover for travel insurance You hope you will not need. But you just can't travel without it

I have used 1 cover a number of times, it is a very easy process and provides value for money when comparing to other policies offered.
I have never had to claim so cannot comment on this process.

My elderly mum broke her arm in Bali in 2013 and Fast Travel were fantastic in looking after her. Ambulance, surgery, hospital stay and finally business class to return home with both my sister and I accompanying her. Couldn't ask for any better service. All for $200 excess. Easy to contact from overseas and follow up was the icing on the cake. I don't use any other travel insurance now.

This is the second time I used 1cover, but the first time I needed to claim. It was a small claim, but I had confirmation of approval within 3 hours of submitting the information on line. Very impressive.

I use1 Cover regularly when traveling and find the cover to be good value for money and easy to apply for on line. I have not had to make a claim to date so am unable to rate the claims process

I have traveled a lot and have always used 1Cover I can not fault them they are cheap, easy to talk to and never had a problem with a claim. They make it very easier to lodge a claim. I always and will always recommend 1Cover.

I have used many insurance providers but none have matched 1cover in terms of ease of application and claims.
I made a claim last year for a ticketed event, it took me 3 minutes me to do. Other companies have you fill in a 10 page tome before assessing a claim.
1cover was fast too, all done in a week. I won't use any other company.

After 5 weeks of frustratingly hopeless communication my legitimate claim has been denied for an invalid reason. I AM FURIOUS!

A quick phone call and you're insured. Rates seem ok.

This cover is one of the few we found with extensive cover for medical conditions at a reasonable cost. But on a previous trip a claim submitted in relation to delayed travel and associated costs was not met by this company

Have never made a claim thankfully as I've never lost anything overseas. But unfortunately on the last trip to Bali I mama hard to lose both my camera and headphones of a boat in one go.

As soon as I was back from my holiday I got in contact with southern cross and they were absolutely perfect to deal with from the get go. They helped me all the way through the claim and transparent with what they needed. All in all I would never go with another insurer purely for the fact I don't need to. An absolute pleasure to deal with

We travel overseas usually each year and our travel insurance is covered by our Westpac Altitude Black credit cards.
15 years ago we made a $80,000 claim with no fuss whatsoever I think the underwriter was Zurich.
However last year we had to make a small claim for lost luggage on a Swizz train and QBE made life so difficult. It took endless emails and phone calls to reach a settlement in 5 months!!!. I think the only reason they settled was I said I was informing Westpac of their deliberate incompetence.
Before we next travel overseas I shall ask Westpac who their insurer is. If they are still using QBE i shall take out cover with another company.
