Flight cancelled, was going to be stranded for 2-3 days in Dubrovnik and miss my flight home to Australia so had to book replacement, claim refused as they said they only cover aircraft breakdown. Will never buy insurance for travel again will just use credit card insurance.

A quick and easy way to sort through all the various travel insurance policies.
Staff easy to talk too. Asked for my policy to be posted to my home addres, rather than email, it arrived within a couple of days.

No communication between emergency claims and normal claim departments. I had to chase up my reimbursement only to have it reduced by the excess I have already paid. Takes ages to get replies from them. Not pleased with the fact no one seems to communicate with anyone else

Didn’t have to make a claim which is good so can’t say what the claims process is like but good value for money.

Unable to provide and prospective advice on our potential holiday refund situation regarding a recent trip to Bali / Lombok despite the recent earthquakes. “Please complete the paperwork and the team will respond within 2 weeks” which was completely unhelpful and not allowing us to rebook a different holiday

I feel grateful that I went with zoom insurance, several unfortunate events occurred during my travels and every time, zoom contacts me quickly and makes the process as easy as insurance can get.

Following an accident in Germany, I required surgery. The doctor I saw in Germany classified this as an emergency and recommended the surgery be completed within a week to prevent further complications. Zoom then took 3 days to decide that they would fly me home for treatment. At the time, I expressed concerns that the delay caused by flying home for surgery would result in more than a week elapsing between injury and surgery. Zoom did not take this into consideration. Following my return home, I was seen by a specialist in New Zealand who was quite appalled that Zoom had chosen to fly me home prior to having surgery. He suggested I make a formal complaint. Five business days ago, I sent an email regarding my concerns to Zoom. At the time I received an automated email suggesting I would receive a reply in two days but I have still not heard anything.

The online task of choosing the type of cover is very simple to complete and excellent value for money. All the inclusions are clearly spelt out and you get a copy of your policy right away

When we take insurance we always hope we do not need to claim, and if we do, we don’t want hassles. On one occasion I had a claim with 1 Cover, I lodged it on a Sunday and I was settled by the following Thursday. Cannot ask for better than that. Fully recommended.

Zoom were fantastic when I claimed for jewellery stolen by a motorcycle thief in Vietnam. I didn't have any supporting documents except for a confirmation letter by my hotel that the incident had occurred. The jewellery belonged to my mother and one piece was given to me as a gift, so I had no receipts or valuations or photographs of the items. To my amazement and gratitude, Zoom paid the claim. I will always use Zoom and would recommend them to everyone. Thank you Zoom.
