We have insured our trip but have not gone on our holiday as yet. Considerably cheaper than other insurers easy to apply

Would rather use those free travel insurance covered by credit cards.Recently bought one with Insure and Go paying around AUD1200. For Australian residents, there is reciprocal health agreement between Australia and few foreign governments like UK, Italy, NZ etc. (free to us). When you buy this insurance, they expect us to go to these public system and join the long queues that is free to Australian residents anyway.We pay premium to "skip-the-lines" in attractions such as Vatican city, Louvre Museum and many others but are told to join the long queues in public systems. This is unreasonable and just a rip off! You have to pay unnecessary travelling costs and waste a lot of time waiting, in addition to language issues in public hospitals of non-English speaking countries. Also, I've provided travel itinerary and consultant don't tell you on this important clause. But when you are there and needing medical assistance, they will slap you with their PDS "Policy Disclosure Statement (PDS) that the "insurance will not cover private medical treatment where satisfactory public care or treatment is readily available in any country under any reciprocal health agreement between Australia and any foreign governments and we have agreed this is medically necessary." I would not have bought this insurance if I were informed of this when buying. There is no peace of mind and bring unnecessary anxiety when you buy this travel insurance thinking it covers all medical assistance. There is absolutely no value at all!

I use 1Cover whenever I travel. Its affordable, straight forward and uncomplicated. Great call center staff always available to assist with enquiries. 1Cover definitely gives me peace of mind when I travel.

I have used 1 cover several times and have been very satisfied with the service so far. I have not had to claim so I don't have that experience, friends who have used 1 cover and had to claim, told me that the process was easy and handled well. This was one of the reasons I chose them originally.

Expectations exceeded every time including value for money, but more importantly when a claim is required. A recent instance occurred when a family member was hospitalised overseas. 1Cover paid all expenses for the patient and for two family members to travel overseas and return including accommodation and meals. Support on the ground was amazing as well. A great outcome.

Unfortunately we had to postpone my flight as I fell sick the day before our flight. The insurance were so great and efficient and refunded all our expenses within 7 days.

I dont like how anything over 12 months old is regarded as not being valuable and proof of purchase is required . I have a camera, ipad and phones that are more than 12 months old and who knows where the receipts are. These items would be quite expensive to replace but insurance companies give you hardly anything back if a claim is needed. Luckily in this case no claim was needed.

The best customer service I have received in years. Nothing was too much trouble for the young lady. Her managers should certainly give her a well done. Service as it used to be years ago- customer care service. Brilliant.

Do not even think considering this travel insurance. They offering you 10 days cancellation policy but there is no way to cancel it. They cannot do that over the phone and you do not have a such option online. I am deputing this with my credit card.
