I unfortunately had to cancel my long anticipated family trip to India. I was unable to travel due to health issues and therefore had to claim against my travel insurance. Zoom were brilliant, they were very helpful and kept me informed every step of the claim process. I would recommend Zoom.

Claim was processed in a few days and no hassles or hiccups. Staff even offered to call back when we were overseas to avoid mobiles costs. Great insurance company

took out insurance in good faith in feb 2019.
my husband was first diagnosed with cancer in april 2019 but has had insurance declined.
this is not right!
this company has been provided with supporting documents but still won't pay out approx $1800
totally dissatasified and disgusted.

I had the misfortune of my bag being lost on a recent trip abroad ,I was happy to know that zoom travel insurance were able to process my claim within a short timeframe which is very pleasing to know

Your travel insurance was a Peace of mind knowing I was covered if needed. I was lucky not needed it this time. Your price was reasonable compared to some others . I will call again in the future

My partner and I had a 5 week trip planned to Scandinavia, however I got sick in the first week and ended up on IV and oral antibiotics. Whilst Zoom insurance were very supportive, we found First Assist (the medical advice team) quite unhelpful and condescending with regard to the medical condition I was suffering, and they advised that I should be able to continue to travel. At this time I had two letters from Doctors advising that I should travel home to Australia from Stockholm. We were initially informed that the medical bills would be paid, but not the lost travel. This advice was provided when we had two Doctors letters advising us to return home to Australia and not travel any further. At this time we asked for clarification by email as to whether Zoom were advising that we travel on against medical advice. We did not receive any advice for two days, so we booked our own flights home in accordance with the medical advice.
The Zoom Claims Team then undertook a further assessment of our claim and advised that they would support the need for curtailment of travel, however this advice took two days to come through on email and we had already landed back in Australia when we got the email.
Whilst we were provided with a full refund on our lost travel and our medical bills, the stress of the First Assist conversations and the initial advice that lost travel would not be covered made our experience very stressful.
It was extremely lucky that we travelled home when we did as I had further complications from the antibiotics and ended up needing to attend the emergency department for a further infection that surfaced 4 days after returning home.

Due to a unexpected medical emergency whilst I was overseas, I needed to change my flights therefore costing out of pocket money. Once I contacted Zoom they were very efficient and helpful from day one. The claim process was super easy. I am one very happy customer and will always purchase travel Insurance with Zoom. The first time I’ve ever had to use my travel insurance so I was very nervous when I had to cancel my holiday after hearing so many insurance horror stories but Zoom were unbelievable!! Everyone I dealt with and every email was wonderful, answering questions promptly and with so much actual care and sympathy which I was not expecting! I got my money back and I don’t have one bad word to say about my experience with Zoom

I needed to make a claim for stolen items over seas and it was super easy and I had the claim approved the next day.

The overall cover suits our needs. The service, efficiency and courtesy provided by your staff, when we unfortunately had a need to lodge a hire car insurance claim after previous travel, was exemplary.

We have used Zoom over and over because one of the cheapest and has exceptional customer service. Had a fall which resulted in a kneecap fracture and had to have a straight leg splint on for 6 weeks. This meant couldn't use our tickets for flights, so after a call from their medical team Zoom arranged for me to go on a different airline in business class with the rest of family on same flight as me too in economy. They took care of all the arrangements and had it sorted within a day. This really took the stress out of it all and helped enjoy the second half of our holiday as much as we could.
On our last holiday our daughter lost her expensive dental plate and Zoom took care of everything with no hassles too.
I wouldn't go with anyone else!! Thank you Zoom
