Saigon 18th March Covid19 had locals in a frenzy, my travel agency advised their Asian Operation was closing next day. They suggested I fly straight home and I concurred and left. Advised them in April of my claim, email exchange endless, got a rather rude phone call one evening in July advising claim refused and little explanation. I commented in a forum and they emailed me and restarted the process again, more documents, advised by email today claim unsuccessful. Surprise, Surprise think they were just stringing me a long the whole time. Never again and I was a return customer thought some loyalty but no. BOOOO!

Absolute scum bags. I paid for 2 flights and accommodation overseas for a friends wedding. Due to government restrictions the wedding was cancelled and flights terminated. Insure and Go offered no fincial reimbursement for any of my flights. Insuring your holiday with this company would be an utter waste of money after countless emails and phone calls to be told you basically don't matter.

I took out what I thought was a one-off policy but was charged an annual fee (at no point was I told it was an annual policy). Complained a year ago and was assured the policy was cancelled and I would never be charged, however I was charged again this year. The charge went to an old bank account and I was only made aware that the payment was taken when my bank contacted me about unpaid fees due to this unauthorised payment. Terrible company taking advantage of people who are already suffering.

Do not use this company. I’ve used them many times over the last 5 years but when I actually had to make a claim on my insurance I have been treated abominably! They are easy to buy cover from but avoid any attempt to make a claim.

I have now been waiting for 6 months for my perfectly legitimate (and modest) claim to be settled. They try at every juncture to avoid contact or respond in any meaningful way and I now believe that they are a fraudulent company who have no intention of honouring our contract. My complaint is now with the Ombudsman (along with many others about this company) but I’m afraid that this will make little impact on such a fraudulent company who care nothing for their customers - My advice is to use a reputable company and don’t touch this lot with a barge pole!!

Easy to buy their insurance, but lengthy delays, obfuscation, hand off to a third party when you try to claim. Months later I am still trying to make headway with them.

I have been trying to sort my claim for 4 months now and have not been able to speak to a representative ONCE in that time.
I have been continually ignored and fobbed off. Calls are promised, but never happen.
They have refused my claim, without discussing it with me, after catagorising it in the wrong category. I repeatedly wrote to correct their error but my correspondence was ignored and I was denied the opportunity to talk to ANYONE about it.
AVOID these charletons!

Have taken four months to review a claim for accommodation. The company failed to respond to queries and used every delaying trick in the book. Looking at other reviews this is entirely typical.

Finally responded after posting on review sites.

They have reduced the claim from £952 to £634 without providing any justification, then applied the excess four times.

Their payout for a £952 claim was £74.

I have been a customer for a number of years and not claimed.

This company are just trying to reduce the amount they pay out before quitting the market. Their customers are essentially uninsured. Look elsewhere for someone you can trust.

Despite paying for a comprehensive annual family policy, when making a claim this company do not respond, do not support or explain, and they will do absolutely everything they can to avoid settling any claim. Their lack of communication is shocking, even when raising a formal complaint as a precursor to referring to the insurance ombudsman the still will not act. A disgrace. My policy wording makes clear and unequivocal cover for my claim. Pointless paying my premium, they have no care for their customers

I have had success with two covid claims on an annual policy. Very happy and will use them again. Plus they insure me for some complex medical issues.

trip cancelled due to COVID - they wont reissue for same trip rescheduled in May 2021. have offered "as a gesture of goodwill" a prorata rebate - so for a $98 insurance cost I am supposed to be happy with $33 - which they will credit on my next insurance with them. I DON'T THINK SO. It was mentioned that as of January 2020 COVID was a known entity and any insurance purchased after that date would not be refunded. WELL IF YOU KNEW ABOUT IT THEN WHY DID YOU KEEP SEELING TRAVEL INSURANCE

Their treatment of clients is pathetic! They don't return calls or complaints...they have no regard for people - just try to get a refund or make a claim and see!

Over the last 3 months, I’ve been trying to get refunded the premium I paid for a policy I couldn’t use due to the COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
I phoned & emailed Insureandgo Sydney on multiple times. They just kept up the reply that my policy was past the 14 days cooling off period & there would be no refund.
After going through all the Insureandgo complaints departments over the past few months with out any success. It’s time to get serious.
I logged into www.afca.org.au & lodged a complaint against Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company.
I was appointed a AFCA Case Manager to represent me in my refund claim.
About 7 days later my case manager emailed me a reply, stating the Insureandgo would give me a credit on future travel insurance. I rejected that offer due to the unknown of future overseas travel & my health.
Another 7 days & they’re asking for my bank account details to transfer the full refund .
3 days later the money appears in my account.
