When I first applied for insurance, 1Cover was easy to do for my cruise insurance. I did not need to use insurance whilst I was away therefore no rating.

It was a hassle free claim experience. I didn't have to wait long for my money back after I had a fall the early morning of my cruise. I contacted 1cover right away and 4 days later the refund is in my account.

I have used 1Cover for many years and have been extremely happy. Although I have never had to make a claim, I have heard via word of mouth that its a positive experience.My only issue I would say is, having been a long time user of 1Cover there are no benefits. No discount is offered and I travel multiple times a year.

Good to know I had cover if needed, luckily I did not need it, but with insurance always good to know its there if needed.

Our flight from Port Macquarie was cancelled by Qantas with no reason given. As we had a connecting international flight we had no other choice but to drive 5 hrs immediately after receiving the text message. As we were driving my husband contacted 1cover to be told that we could not make a claim unless the flight was cancelled due to the weather. This was very incorrect information as we have re read our policy. We were already stressed and this additional misinformation only made things worse. Our family travel frequently and we will never use or recommend 1cover again.

My friend is in a coma in hospital and the costs are going up daily and we can't afford to get him out and 1cover have found a loophole not to cover and won't help... Disappointed and saddened. We just want to get him back to Australia

My wife became ill on cruise & following treatment we were left with a rather large medical bill. We made a claim with 1 Cover & claim was approved next day with minimal fuss. Thanks 1 Cover you are now our go to insurance from now on.

There is a provision within the policy wording for all travel insurance policies whereby any relative aged over 85 whom passes away and regardless of where they live at the time will not be covered.

Not even the flight home was covered in this family emergency.

It would be great if the policy wording was emailed with the actual Policy cover like AAMI policies instead of a link to go to "view policy wording".

In addition the claim took over 8 days to review without any follow up. I had to physically call up to receive this information that i was out of pocket $900 on top of any abandoned travel plans.

My sports watch was stolen in circumstances that clearly give rise to a claim. You rejected it on totally spurious grounds.

Easy to sign up with clear plans, benefits and exclusions. Provided with emergency contact numbers. Haven't made a claim even though have had 3 or more trips covered. I hope claim procedure is as easy as signup.

I've never had to claim insurance but whenever I go overseas, I always book my travel insurance with 1Cover.

Coud not find the support / non-sales / claims number easily on the web site. Advice was a bit non-specific.
