There are a number of additional benefits within the the policy in relation to medical, although there is a certain level of reciprocal cover in some countries your 1Cover policy offers cover for medical evacuation back home. Depending on the medical circumstances this could be as simple as upgrading the flight you already have booked or providing an air ambulance with a doctor or nurse on board. In addition to this there are provisions to claim for cancellation and curtailment of your trip or additional accommodation and travel expenses if a medical adviser deems you unfit to travel on your original return date.
So yes, your hospital expenses may be covered by a reciprocal agreement but we are providing that extra level of cover so you can travel with the peace of mind that should something serious happen we're here to help.
Thank you for choosing 1Cover and for taking the time to leave us a review.
