Received a call from a customer service person, who advised I needed extra cover for my particular policy, which was greatly appreciated.

We recently travelled to Vietnam and took out travel insurance with Zoom. We needed to make a claim due to a delayed flight and I found the whole process to be very easy to do and the refund was processed within the time frame that they quoted. Would definitely use Zoom again.

I was pleasantly surprised when I rang 1Cover, I am over 70 yrs and the price quoted was very favourable, your staff were very friendly and informative. It becomes harder to get reasonable insurance cost as you age, thank you 1Cover.

We got stopped at hk international airport because my name was 'different'. Made us miss our flight and had to book another flight the next day with a massive detour/stop over to japan and a hotel for the night and wasted 2 days. Tried to claim and all they said was sorry.

Hire car companies really annoy me with their extortionate insurance rates (they've been doing this for a while now, you'd think by now they would have negotiated a policy that covered everyone) - so it's good 1Cover has got my back.

It's difficult to review insurance unless a claim is required. Purchase was easy. I didn't make a claim therefore I can't really review.

We recently went on a cruise holiday, the insurance was easy to buy (except I couldn't work out how to add days in Singapore before and after our cruise). I got quite sick on the cruise and had to visit the Medical Centre several times, quite an expensive exercise. When I got back I submitted my claim and was paid within a week. Easy as!

Only just changed to Insure and Go. Saw the advert in RACV email. Was previously with QBE and we liked the fact that we could get married couple on one policy

kept me up to date at where my claim was. Dont think I should have been penalised for another excess on the robbery in Buenos Aires. Overall happy with the time the claim took to be verified and passed for payment. Thank you

I purchased travel insurance online and i had mistakenly put the return date as 2 days early. I called, thinking they could just amend the return date and I could pay the difference. I was told by the consultant that they would have to cancel the policy and I would have to re-purchase the policy as I had put in the incorrect date. I then asked if I could purchase 2 days' insurance to make up the shortfall. I was told that the minimum was 3 days. Frustrated, i told her to cancel the policy. I was told to expect a full refund in 5 business days. Needless to say, I will be buying my insurance elsewhere.

Took out RAC travel insurance and became ill overseas. Had a total of over $2500 in medical expenses, lost flights, accomodation and large roaming bills RE booking from hospital. Was put through to Tokio Marine RACs insurance provider and they are the worst company I have ever dealt with. Takes far too long to reply to emails, disgusting customer service and are incompetent to say the least.
