Insure n Go Travel Insurance Review

Luckily I haven't had to make a claim as yet. The review experiences is why we use this brand. Premiums are competitive and an easy process online

The main issue I had was that I did not clearly identify how I could adjust the excess amount. Even after looking at my policy document is just says "Standard Excess" which is not transparent at all. Please advise what my excess is if I need to make a claim.

Information I sent through to support claim was handled inefficiently as I was asked several times for same information which had previously been confirmed as received. Was advised claim was to be cancelled due to lack of response which was incorrect. There was no or inconsistent confirmation or receipt of information sent through unless asked for. Staff helpful when I had to phone several times to find out where my claim was at. Some information asked for I felt was unreasonable. It took 3 months to finalise my claim. The outcome of my claim was good but I found it a stressful exercise.

I won’t use again and do not recommend. Insureandgo does NOT save you worry and certainly not money. 🤣<br/><br/>I’ve been travelling for a while (5 years) and buying insurance as needed. My claim for 2 trips to the hospital for the same illness was rejected as my trip had already started...I hadn’t needed it travelling in NZ but Bali is obviously a different story. I did forget to buy it before landing in Bali but remembered pretty quickly on my first scooter ride and bought it immediately. Maybe I missed the fine print..still customer service was terrible, emails asking to add to my existing claim were ignored- and was given very vague answers, in pretty unprofessional emails. No signing off, or helpfullness or even a ‘hello’. Just ‘yes you can’. <br/><br/>Again, would not bother with insureandgo. Waste of time and money.

Have used Insure and Go several time and made my first claim recently. Process was simple, easy and relatively quick. Good communications and result!

Ordered travel insurance online and received a 10 petcent discount thank you, but the website didnt tell me i was entitled to 15 percent being a senior, found out later through the seniors newsletter<br/>Not a big issue just though you should know, apart from that always a good experience

I rate 8 for the customer experience because I didn't have customer experience yet, hope I can mark 10 if I get any

Getting a quote for our up coming cruise was quick and easy, and the price was very competative making us very happy.

Have yet to have a claim so can only comment on the cost and what's covered (or I understand to be covered).

Works well for seniors, especially with medical conditions,<br/>Which is probably most of us.<br/>Very friendly and easy to deal with.

Travel insurance is a must, and InsureandGo offers a number of cover options. The price is very reasonable and would be hard to beat.
