How many people can I include in my policy?
You can purchase a policy for two adults online. For more travellers, give them a call.
Am I covered if I go on a cruise?
Yes, if you purchase their cruise pack. Here’s a top tip: Even if you’re travelling in Aussie waters you need to pick 'Pacific' as your destination as you're not covered at sea by Medicare or your usual heath care provider.
Am I covered for skiing and my equipment?
Yes if you purchase their ski pack. You'll be covered for $2,000 worth of your skiing equipment and hire equipment, $1,000 for your ski pack and $1,000 for bad weather closure.
Can I pay to reduce or cancel my excess?
No you cannot pay to remove your excess with Boomers.
Am I covered if my tour company collapses?
No, they will not pay claims caused by the financial collapse or insolvency of any travel agent, transport, tour or accommodation provider.
I'm not an Australian resident- can I buy cover?
No, only Australian residents eligible for Medicare.
">What size moped or motorbike am I covered to ride overseas?
Boomers will cover not cover you for riding a bike or scooter without a valid license in Australia or the country you are riding in. You must be wearing a helmet too. If you purchase their Adventure pack you can ride a bike more than 250cc.
How long is their single trip cover for?
12 months.
Can I extend my policy from overseas?
Having too much fun? No problems! You can extend your policy from overseas as long as your first policy has not already expired.
Do they cover for my rental vehicle excess?
Yes, your excess is covered up to $6,000 if you are involved in an accident whilst on holiday.
