Zoom Travel Insurance Review

We went with zoom travel again because the claim we unfortunately had to make last holiday was very easy and hassle free. So this holiday was worry free knowing we had the protection of zoom with us.

Ended up in hospital overseas and called Zoom about the possibility of making a claim. Got told it was fine and they'd be in touch. Never heard from them unless I called despite them saying they'd call back ASAP.Got back to home and they denied my claim saying I had a pre-existing medical condition. Haven't had any symptoms for 5 years and got my doctor to back me up on this, they still insisted it was a pre-existing medical condition despite what it says in their terms and conditions. Their complaints officers even picked and chose phrases from their T&C to make it fit their reason for denying my claim. Had to escalate my claim twice, take time off work to figure out all the lies they decided to make up, and wait 2 months for them to accept my claim.

Even if I did not had to make any claim (I never have had one before) I do appreciate your fast response and will use you again in my future travel

Zoom travel insurance is a great product as far as cost goes, having it gives me peace of mind fortunately I haven't ever had a claim

Have just returned from a driving holiday through 3 states here in Australia ,we took out domestic travel insurance to give us peace of mind while we enjoyed our great country. Knowing we were protected for those unexpected problems was fantastic. The level of coverage was terrific and the cost was very agreeable indeed. We would recommend Zoom to everyone .

Easy to purchase on line great prices I travel a lot and will regularly use zoom travel insurance from now on. Why pay more when zoom cover is the same.

Having travelled extensively for 30+ years and having never had to claim for anything I was always loathing of spending money on travel insurance. We purchased online based on price and suitable cover offered.. Never heard of zoom before this purchase. <br/><br/>During our trip we had a serious injury requiring urgent surgery. <br/>zoom were fantastic.. Sorted payment for surgery/hospital etc etc - everything.. About $25,000 all up.<br/><br/>I can honestly say we found them to be fantastic and they reimbursed us with all our out of pocket expense related to the claim upon our return. I would highly recommend them from our experience and will certainly be using zoom in the future for our travels.<br/><br/>Well done zoom 11/10!

Have travelled many times but this was my first insurance claim. Zoom provided good coverage at a competitive price. Easy on-line claim process and super fast resolution. I lodged my claim on the day I returned to Aus. Later the next day the full claim was approved and the funds arrived within 3 days.

I always buy Zoom travel insurance because they sell the cheapest premiums with good cover. I also made a claim once and the turnaround time was really quick.

Web site was easy to use and fill in.<br/>Zoom had the best price for our Holiday Travels.<br/>Will definitely use again.

Inconsiderate of a difficult situation I was placed in when requesting to claim. Typical insurance willing to take but not to give.
