Most of my luggage was misdirected while travelling to England. I had chosen Plan D Worldcare travel insurance. I spent a lot of money due to this mix up. The carrier refused to accept it was their fault in writing. People at Worldcare refused to file my claim as I did not have the necessary documentation. I would not recommend this policy to anyone.

After recommendation from friends and family, I decided to go with Worldcare travel insurance. I must say that I found them to be just like any other insurance company. The products that they offer are standard along with their service. I would neither recommend nor discourage people from opting for Worldcare travel insurance.

Dealing with insurance companies has always been a pain. But I was forced to change my opinion after my encounter with Worldcare. Their promises and claims are genuine. My official trip to Europe was cancelled at the last minute. My travel claim was approved and I received full payment.

Due to some internal problems, my airline cancelled my flight from Denmark at the last minute. I had to find my way back home with my own money. I was entitled to reimbursement from the travel insurance company, but I didn’t receive a penny. After filing a complaint I was told that my claim was rejected as I was entitled for reimbursement from the airline as well. In the end, I had to bear the loss. Please be careful of the fine-print when it comes to Worldcare.

My encounter with Worldcare travel insurance left me highly confused, just like the people who work in their customer service department. While filing a claim, I contacted their customer service hotline and regretted the decision immediately. Just filing the claim proved to be a huge task as I was constantly transferred from person to person and asked to fill an overwhelming number of forms. After filing, I received my reimbursement really quick. The claims process was a very unpleasant one.

I was told by Worldcare that I would have a cooling period of 14 days after my insurance is approved. However, when I changed my mind and applied to cancel my policy on the 14th day, they rejected it saying that the insurance had to be cancelled before 14 days. My premium was not paid back to me, and I had to stick with them. Not flexible.

My trip to New Zealand was extended due to bad weather. My terrier, whom I had left at a local kennel, had to stay there an extra week. My policy was supposed to reimburse me for the extra expenses for the pet cover during this period. It has been months, but I am yet to see a single cent from Worldcare.

For our last family holiday, we visited Greece. On our way back, our flights were delayed due to bad weather. We were all really anxious to get our travel insurance extended, as it worked out, it was automatically extended because we were covered for bad weather delays. Our worries were unfounded and should pay more attention to our policy details in the PDS.

Worldcare is my default travel insurance because of their simple policies and good service. I am a frequent traveller so I purchased an annual multi trip policy. I had to make a claim for damaged luggage and I wasn't dissapointed. I will be renewing my policy when it expires.

I am frequent flier due to my business commitments, so insuring myself with a good travel insurance company is a must. I opted for Worldcare as I was suggested by a friend, and I must say that I am happy that I did so. Everything is so simple, from purchasing a policy to my claim. I had to make a claim for extended trip due to illness was approved quickly.

I had insured myself and my husband before going on a recent trip to Philippines. Our baggage was stolen and we applied for the claim for loss of baggage. After several unreturned calls, they finally got back to us and our claim was accepted. It took quite some time for the claim to get processed, and we were paid only 65% of our loss. Worldcare needs to improve.

Being a frequent traveller and an old client of Worldcare, I expected better services. However, my claim for loss of baggage was not processed and was rejected without being given a single reason for it. My calls were not answered and e-mails were ignored. I would not recommend Worldcare to anyone.
