I made a claim when my accommodation was cancelled due to the Lombok volcano affecting flights in and out of Bali. After completing the appropriate documentation I was surprised about the ease of processing my claim and received a full refund without question. <br/>If you are buying insurance for travel to Bali, make sure you buy it at least 2 weeks before travelling because you are not covered if you buy the insurance when it is known that flights are grounded due to volcanic activity

A phone call led me to believe my claims would be honoured but unfortunately they were not. It was an archaic system with pages of paper which had to be sent snail mail.

Worse insurance I have ever had, zero costumer service, I strongly suggest escalate your complaints to FOS, they wast time to process the claims and make funny excuses to reject claims.

We unfortunately had a luggage theft whilst on holiday in October last year. <br/>All in all, took 15 emails and just under 3 months to finally get paid out.<br/>They insisted on original receipts (who keeps receipts for old items!). We finally compromised on proof of prior ownership (which should have happened in the first place).<br/>All items that we could not prove ownership (gifts etc) were not paid out.<br/>PS you might think you have $10 000 worth of baggage cover. Ha ha - read the small print. Most items have a limit of $750.<br/>We were already traumatised by the theft without Woolworth's insurance having to make it worse.

I had a few questions about my travel policy and phoned the Woolworths Insurance customer service help line. The consultant was friendly, knowledgable and able to answer all the questions that I had in a timely manner. I would definitely use them again.

Total Crooks. Refused a legitimate claim and twisted everything to do that. They said my laptop bag which was taken by a taxi driver when he drove off with my stuff in the boot without opening the boot when we paid and got out if taxi. Apparently that's our fault for leaving it in his. Closed boot. $1500 LOSS AND totally useless insurance. I will be taking this up with ombudsman. Disgusting and dishonest. Never use woolworths Travel insurance

Worst travel insuranvce ever. Missing luggage for 3 days and damaged items in the luggage on arrival. Could not claim even a cent. Would not recommend it to any one. Next time I would shop around and read the fine print.

This is the worst insurance provider ever i deal with. They are full of cheat, we never recover our lost Mobile and camera. After we submit the claim, they ask further document Tax invoice and IMEI no of my Mob. i provided every supporting documents they asked for. I spent so much time to make police clearance and find tax invoice. After i submit the Proof they twist the case and say it can't be paid !!! why the hell they didn't tell before?? If they would have tell before if can't be recovered i wouldn't spend . i suggest, if anyone going to make the baggage claim, don't spent your time to make claim. They will drag you asking this and that and finally they won't pay . They are full of cheat !!!!!!!

Easy, No Fuss Insurance, no more going through a travel agent for me. Cost Half the price I would normally pay through covermore travelling to Bali once a year. <br/>Over $50pp Saved which equals an extra 5 Massages each!! Know which one I'd prefer!

What’s the point in taking out insurance if it doesn’t actually cover your belongings when they are stolen?!? I thought I had done everything Woolworths had asked of me. I filled out the police report within 24 hours and got a written report from the owner of the hostel. I have original receipts of my ipod that was stolen from my ‘locked’ hostel room. But apparently because it was not locked away in a safe within the room, it is not covered. I will not be taking out insurance with Woolworths again!
I spent five weeks sending all relevant documents to these idiots regarding my claim, only to be knocked back for the most spurious of reasons. I was unable to acquire a police report within 24 hours when I lost my camera in the middle of a national park in Croatia! When I called them, it was obvious that my 'claims officer' Neha Sharma had not looked at a single document I had sent, and that it's policy not to allow too many claims through.<br/><br/>Claims are slow, painful, and all go through an Indian call centre. Trust me, trying to make a call is far worse than actually getting robbed overseas, or breaking your leg, or crashing a car. You won't get a cent back, and will be blamed for your stupidity in getting yourself into such a situation.<br/><br/>Save your time and money and get your insurance with anyone else. Hell, hand a few hundred dollars to the first person you see when you get to that exotic foreign country - he's just as likely to help you out when you need it!
