Made a mistake in our tickets, refused to fix the error and expected us to pay to change our tickets when the mistake was made by a member of their staff.
Would not provide the number to their head office based in the state I live, would not let me speak to a manager. Called everyday for a week with them saying, “we’ll get back to you” and now to gaslighting me and shifting the blame onto me for messing up our ticket dates. Horrible service, I wish I read the reviews before using this travel agency, because I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

We all know travelling during this 'COVID era' is a nightmare and to be adaptable during change, which is all good and well.
However the customer service, lack of empathy and lack of communication shown by webjet was surprising (and not in a good way)
On the 19th of June I flew from CBR to OOL - my original flight was cancelled and webjet rescheduled me from an early flight to a later flight - I was informed via email of the flight change, and I was grateful for the outcome and grateful that I was informed.
On the 31st of June I was scheduled to fly out off OOL, this morning had a very different outcome from my first flight, I arrived at the airport 1-hour prior to my flight, and when I couldn't check-in using the self service I approached the customer desk who informed me that I was not on any flight home, after showing all my confirmation email I was directed to contact webjet who unapologetically informed me that my flight was cancelled and they couldn't help me in this situation. That morning whilst I was sitting at the airport, QLD announces lockdown, I called webjet back desperately asking for an explanation and for guidance, which there response was 'its your responsibility to check flights' and 'a refund will be processed'
I was lucky enough to be able to book a flight home on the same day, despite having to wait at the airport for 9 hours, frustrated, upset and alone.

Webjet failed me in so many ways on this occasion and it could have had a completely different outcome by just one email or even some compassion, help or guidance over the phone by customer service representatives.

* it's now been over a month and I have not seen my refund, I'm down $300 for bookings a flight on the day (as QLD lockdown is announced)
However my refund can't be processed due to the T&C's stating they can hold my funds for 3 months - just because you can doesn't mean you should....

A lot of negativity around webjet and all airfare brokers to be honest, HOWEVER I have to say, I have used webjet so many times and have never had a problem. Always found them easy to deal with. Getting through can be an issue at times but there intentions are always what’s best for the customer and they will always demonstrate this by going by going in to bat for you with the airlines. They ultimately save you money and get some great deals, just do your homework so you understand what you are buying from the airline through webjet.

Booked a flight through Webjet from Sydney & took out the travel insurance for loss of fare due to cancellation or other circumstances beyond your control. The flight from my hometown to Sydney was delayed as the pilot was sick, so I could not make the connecting flight out of Sydney. Made a claim. Sorry only cover fares including pilot strike or terrorist attack. How many people buy this thinking they are covered? I will never take travel insurance through Webjet or Allianz again. Be warned

This company cancelled my policy half way. If your travel is interrupted and you briefly return home you cover is null and void you lose all money paid to them. When you resume travel you will need to buy more insurance. This seems very unfair as I could of stayed overseas and had expensive medical treatment at their expense but I returned home for treatment. It cost me half the cost of the policy.

I am currently trying to make a claim.. everything is done online. it is so hard to get an answer & when you do its over 1 week later. This is the most frustrating experience. We have had travel insurance with Covermore for 17 years this year for the 1st time i shopped around for a cheaper option.. This is the 1st year we have ever had a claim.. I 1st submit papers back in July.. Still being asked for more info & paperwork even though I have sent everything.. I'm certain they are hoping it will all get to hard & i'll just give up...

The most inexpensive travel insurance for me. Doesn't mean it is worth it. I would say I would recommend it but there is probably better deals out there. Customer experience has been okay. Frustrating contacting them, but the problem I have is usually sorted out quickly.

Do not utilise the Webjet insurance service, do your research. There is a reason why there is so many bad experiences from customers online, I am still chasing a refund after 3 years. To add on to this experience, Webjet referred me to their insurance policy and 'cancelled' my flight credits, assuring me that I would obtain a refund from their insurance....KNOWING THAT THIS IS FALSE INFORMATION....I couldn't believe it when I was told that no, I would not be covered for this. To then go back to Webjet who now state that my flight credit is cancelled and they've taken my money. Its comical. Do not book with Webjet, ever. They are dishonest and will disappoint you whilst simultaneously ringing out your wallet.
