I have just bought and insurance policy for a holiday later this month. InsureandGo are definitely competitive and I feel confident as I have used this company before. Last year I was travelling in Italy and my SLR camera was damaged. I immediately sent an email which Insureango responded to immediately. On my return to Australia there were no dramas at all in claiming for my camera. I have peace of mind that I am well and truly covered if something happens - but hopefully I will just have a blissful time!!

We had to cancel two trips this year due to illness and our claims were paid promptly without fuss. Their premiums are reasonable and we would choose InsureandGo every time.

I lost my iPhone in a taxi overseas not long ago, and they won't pay me. They said I lost it in a taxi which is considered a public place. When you lose something, it's normally in a public place. After their rejection, I claimed from my credit card insurance company, they paid me within 2 weeks without any question asked, nor do I have to send my original copies of purchase document. Yes, they can be very nice to you when you want to purchase the insurance from them, but you will have a hard time claiming for anything. Don't bother buying insurance from them, go elsewhere. When they don't pay you for your claim, it's not value for money.

The website was easy to use and to get a quote then purchase. I didn't like how they can only accept a single first name. I ended up calling to get my wife's name put in as her full name ( Multiple first names ). But that was basically a waste of time My call wasn't answered for nearly 30 mins, only to be told the name is not that important. It can even be a Nick name. I wasn't very impressed and requested her name to be updated as per her passport.
I hope not to make a claim. Sounds like it might be a difficult process.

Tried to update my already paid for travel insurance to Natural disaster cover. They refused. They also refused to issue me a refund on a policy in late October (1.5 months away) that I haven't used in the slightest.
Literally dozens of travel insurance companies are covering Natural disaster still and it's not an optional extra, it's just automatically covered.
Very unhappy with the complaint resolution systems. Would not purchase again. It's all well and good to be the cheapest when you don't cover what's actually needed.
I live in Australia and have been in the UK for 2 months and I filled in the forms however the representative said the form needed to go to head office first. He then categorically stated he would call in two days time. He didn't call! I rang to be told that I had to be in the UK for six months and have a GP which of course I do not have. If you live for six months in the UK you are a resident and no longer an Expat and any travel insurance will help you! I suggest you go to True Travellor insurance.
