Claimed the IT dept lost emails over 4 or 5 months despite all the form emails replying to me emails. Lots of hassles which seemed like making me get tired of jumping hurdles for a relatively small claim amount

I have insured with you guys for about 5 yrs now and you make it easy to apply and disclose and assess and the coverage is good and the premium is fair!

We have used this company many times & recommended to our friends, based on the great reviews. Unfortunately this company was great until a claim was made. The insurance was taken out at the same time as the trip was paid, which was about 10 months prior to travelling. Unfortunately 5 days prior to the trip my husband had an accident & broke his arm, but as this did not affect his ability to fly we did not advise the insurance company of his accident. Big mistake! My husband had paid for a tour in Europe, which cost $6,000.00, but due to his accident he was unable to go on this tour. On arrival in Europe, 6 days after the accident, we advised the insurance company of the accident, in the expectation that any claim we made would be honoured. We completed the paperwork when we arrived back home only to discover that no, they wouldn't cover because we didn't advise of the accident before the trip & also any accident that happens before you go, that doesn't cause cancellation of the trip, isn't covered, They sent copies of their documents which states this is so. I have to say I did read the PDF document when the insurance was taken out but I didn't take note of that point. It's obviously a case of buyer beware & believe me I'm very aware now.

In 40 years of travelling around the world l have not met a travel insurance company so bad as this one. Made a claim under cancellation of my holiday, which in the policy was clearly stated. Doctors note followed, still not accepted my claim. From my experience this company takes your money without any intentions of refunding your money if you have to cancel. Staff l dealt with were objective and seemingly not well trained. Go elsewhere.

I was a bit annoyed that in the end of deciding what cover etc. I got another fee added for volcano cover.

Had to make a claim due to cancellation of family holiday due to death in family. My claim was dealt professionally, with empathy and in a timely manner. Not all insurers are the same after experiencing InsureandGo. Thankyou.

Insurance was affordable & when I made our claim for missed ports all was sorted & paid in a responsible amount of time

Trying to make a claim is frustrating, especially when the person on the phone does not understand basic English, she did not understand anything I said, then was sent an email with something entirely different to what I was asking, the email made no sense at all. Save your money.

We insured with InsureandGo a year ago when we purchased a cruise into the South Pacific. My partner was diagnosed with bowel cancel and we had to cancel the cruise. InsureandGo were fantastic they paid our claim very quickly and without causing us anymore stress. At that difficult time we really appreciated their honest, reliable and fair response to our claim.

I always use insure & go been very happy with the company. I go to Bali 3 times a year & feel safe having their travel insurance.
