FastCover Travel Insurance Review

My experience with Fastcover has been a decent one. They have a wide range of plans to choose from. Prices are decent. Rest is fine.

The best thing about Fastcover is their “cooling-off period”. Unlike the other insurance policy sellers, Fastcover gives you the benefit of cancelling the policy which has already been purchased with a full refund. I had to cancel what I had already purchased due to unavoidable reasons and everything was done without any fuss!

I recommend Fastcover to everyone. They have multiple plans to suit everyone’s requirements. The customer service staff is very professional and answered all my enquiries patiently.

Fastcover is the best thing to have happened to me. The entire process from purchasing the policy to the claim was very smooth. Everything was very well organised. I strongly recommend Fastcover to everyone who’s travelling.

I travelled to Europe last month. On a friend’s suggestion, I took the Fastcover insurance just before leaving. It was really quick and hassle-free to get insured. During the trip, I fell really ill and was hospitalised. That’s when Fastcover came to my rescue and everything was sorted out. Thank you Fastcover.

Fastcover made my journey to Paris truly memorable. Everything was well planned and sorted. Their service has been excellent. I lost my laptop during the trip which left me very disappointed. But then when going through the policy details, Fastcover covers for lost of items, and I got back the cost of the laptop less excess and depreciation. It was unexpected as I didn't think I was covered for that.

When travelling to India a few months ago, I suffered from a severe Asthma attack. Thank goodness I had the Fastcover insurance. They paid all the medical expenses and the claim process was extremely smooth and stress-free. Now with Fastcover, I can travel freely without worrying about my Asthma.

I was on my way back to Australia after a nice long vacation from Hawaii. My on my return, due to bad weather, I had to remain in Hawaii for more than 48 hours. Fastcover extended my policy cover free of charge till I returned back and reimbursed me for the additional accomodation and expenses like meals. I like their service and would definitely approach them for further trips.

I like the ease with which products of Fastcover can be purchased. I did not have any problems during the process of claiming. Everything went smoothly and within 10 business days, as promised, they returned me the money. I like the quickness with which they work and value their customers.

I travelled with my mother to Florida about two months ago. There, she suffered an acute migraine attack and I had to pay all the medical expenses. I have been following up with Fastcover ever since but no reply. Whenever I call, I am made to wait for at least 10 mins before somebody answers. Then I am just told to fill up their online claims form. Till date nobody has reverted and I am still waiting for my money.

I wanted to get cover for my trip to Japan, Indonesia, China and then to India. However, because I am going to Japan, I had to get the Worldwide policy which is a lot more expensive because Japan is not included in the Asia policy. I do not understand why Japan is not included in the Asia policy, clearly Japan is located in Asia. I am not very happy to be paying more, but I had to do so to get covered for my trip.

I bought the Fastcover policy on my friend’s suggestion but I must tell you that I am truly disappointed with their services. I lost my baggage en route to the states and have since been calling them for the claims. There has been no response from their end. Very upsetting and frustrating!
