TID's quotes were very competitive. The benefits compared well with other premium offerings from competitors so I was quite comfortable with what was on offer. I would happily recommend your services to my friends and family. Buying a policy online was straight forward and easy.

I recently came across a package provided by Travel Insurance Direct. The insurance deal seemed interesting and rates were reasonable. I purchased it online. Sadly I lost my baggage while returning, which was covered by the insurance. I filled online claim form. However, I didn’t receive any reply. Their telephone numbers were always busy. When someone finally answered, he redirected me to the web-form which I had already filled. After explaining this, he put me on hold for 15 minutes and then the line was cut. I gave up because I decided the amount was not worth the hassle. These online insurance companies should never be trusted without checking their services.

I travel around the globe for business related work. My company and I are linked with Travel Insurance Direct for a year now. Their services are good. They have delivered what they promised. We hope that they come up with better services.

I went for an Euro trip with some friends. I developed severe toothache followed by fever. Travel Insurance Direct took care of the medical expenses till I got better. Then I continued with my trip. I am very impressed with their service and would very much recommend to others.

My experience with Travel Insurance Direct has been neutral. Their service is a bit slow and the people are a bit rude and indifferent to my situation, but they eventually approved my claim. I was able to recoup 50% of the cost of my lost belongings.

I was travelling in South America for nature and wildlife photography. I witnessed an accident and left my bags unattended to help the affected victims. However, my bag that contained my expensive camera and equipment was stolen while I was being a good samaritan. It was a kick in the teeth, TID would not pay me on the grounds of negligence as I left my belongings unattended. I am very disappointed with their service and will not recommend their service to anybody in future.

Travel Insurance Direct do not honour their promise! I was paid peanuts in the name of trip cancellation charges even after all the documentation. I would warn all people not to go for TID, when you have so many companies offering a lot more better policy.

On my trip to England with my partner, our airline lost our luggage. We contacted TID and they were ready to assist us in case our airline couldn't retrieve our bags. This gave us a peace of mind as we were supposed to attend a wedding. We will use them again and recommend TID to all our friends.

I took out a family policy prior to my trip to Europe with Travel Insurance Direct. 2 days before we were due to fly out, my 2 year old child was down with high fever, and I had to cancel my trip. Thanks to TID’s policy, I was paid all the cancellation charges.

The website is simple and easy to use. I didn't have to waste time calling the call centre because of my busy schedule. The prices were also the best of 6 that I compared with on the same level of cover. The information provided was easy and clear to understand which made me feel at ease knowing what I was covered on my trip.

Travel Insurance Direct makes everything look super simple and cool, but in reality it is nothing like what they portray themselves to be. The people are rude and you have to make repeated calls after making a claim. The time period of getting a claim settled is way too long. I'm not going back to them next time, you shouldn't too.

I used them to cover for the car rental excess. It was a much cheaper solution to pay more to have the car insurance excess reduced. I am going overseas soon and I will be getting a policy from them again. I'm glad I have found TID
