CTI Verdict

Travel Insurance Direct (TID)’s straightforward plan structure – The Basics, The Works, and an Annual Multi-Trip option – makes it super easy to find the right level of cover for your trip. The Works plan offers unlimited overseas medical and generous luggage sub-limits, particularly for tech gear. Just be aware that pre-existing medical conditions are only covered via an automatic list; so if your condition isn’t on it, there’s no assessment pathway and you’ll need to look elsewhere. Ideal for younger travellers who want to ensure their belongings are protected.
