Tried claiming one airplane ticket as my daughter was too ill to fly. Had doctors certificate but the Insurance agent wanted to know intimate details of her illness. As an underage minor, I got legal advice that it is illegal to request such information from a minor and refused to answer his questions. As such he claimed he could not help me and shut the case.

I got this insurance for my family and while we claimed for our luggage we found they are terrible, unreliable and rubbish insurance.

I used InsureandGo for the first time in 2014, and I have used them ever since. In about a dozen overseas trips, 2014 was the first and only time I have ever needed to make a claim, and I had so little evidence to back up my claim that I expected they would reject it out-of-hand. It was an unlikely (but true!) story: a train delayed by a suicide on the tracks, the police stopping all rail traffic for several hours, a plane missed, four days' holiday written off. To make things worse, it was in a different-language country, and neither the police (understandably) nor the railway officers were in the least interested in providing me with any kind of evidence to show to my insurer. But InsureandGo accepted my claim, and agreed to cover my losses. You can't ask for better service than that!

I went on a cruise and the weather was bad so we missed a port. We put in a claim for missed port. It was easy and quick.

I strongly advise to avoid this insurance, I have got travel insurance from this company and my luggage broke in airport transition but they reject my claim for ridiculously excuse, they looking for different excuse to flee from their commitment.<br/>Never get this insurance.

Very happy. Pleasant experience as i found the web page simple and straightforward. Very easy to cover my basic requirements and i felt things just fell into place. Had cover that other insurers who were charging similar or moderately higher fees did not cover. Cheers

Only complaint is that you can't accept the policy and pay the premium on line and perhaps there should be someone available on weekends to answer questions etc

After asking me to provide multiple documents to support my claim (delayed luggage resulting in around $1000 expenses and two items stolen from luggage) my claim was denied. They said my basic package didn’t insure me for delayed baggage. So why ask for all the receipts, travel docs and a letter from the airline!! And as far as the stolen luggage- a camera and new shoes, the camera isn’t covered as classed as a valuable item. The shoes are covered but with $100 excess, I may be entitled to $20 if I jump through several more hoops!! What a waste of time getting insurance.

Did not know this company. Recieved email from "Seniors" advertising 15% discount from Insure and go. Was looking for travel insurance for domestic cruise and when i looked at the items covered i was pleasantly surprised that this insurance company had a policy specifically for domestic cruising which a lot if others don't. I read the PDS before i committed to purchasing the policy and i was really impressed with what they were covering.The silver option had everything i was looking for. With medical screening submitted for both of us the cost of the basic policy only increased by $20.

InsureAndGo claim they will respond in 10 days to any claim. After waiting 2 months I had to contact them!
