CTI Verdict
Go Insurance takes a mix-and-match approach – rather than fixed plans, you choose which sections of cover to include or leave out, so you’re not paying for things you don’t need. Overseas medical is unlimited even on the entry-level tier, with the higher tiers adding in extras like hospital cash and bigger liability limits. But it’s worth knowing that the age limit sits at 75, a bit lower than some competitors, so Go Insurance is usually a better fit for younger and middle-aged travellers than retirees.
Go Insurance was truly and terrible experience. Their customer service was average, often stating over the phone at midday that their claims operators had gone home early and would call me back another day, yet failed to do so. Their valuation of personal property is way off when they finally get around to settling a claim and their policy's are vague as an Ikea instruction manual.
