Westpac offers travel insurance two ways: complimentary through their Altitude credit cards and standalone travel insurance that can be purchased separately (even if you’re not with Westpac). The separate travel insurance is delivered through a partnership with Allianz – meaning the plans and coverage are essentially the same as purchasing directly through Allianz. Just be aware that the overseas medical cover is capped at $20 million rather than unlimited.
