Booked cruise insurance, not worth a cent flight home from sydney at end of cruise was cancelled. Stuck in Sydney overnight, claim rejected as not an international flight!
Took them 7 weeks to tell me I was not covered.
Poor communication, too many exclusions, I will never use this company again

tick travel insurance is the worst - do not pay them a cent because they will not even return a cent of your emergency EXPENSES

When making a claim this is what they will try and do:
1. provide you with the worst customer service
2. do not reply to your emails
3. make you call them back
4. will be passed onto multiple different claims officers. you will never get to speak to the same claims officer even if you ask to. I have been passed on to the call center staff (each person is very good at making your life extremely difficult, taking time out of your day to give you headaches)
5. will say they dont have your documents and make you resend all your documents again
6. will say there is no one you can speak to
7. they lie a lot. Will not do what they say.
8. In summary, they will make your life so difficult to make sure you don't go ahead with making your claim to get your money back.

Referred by my sister as the cheapest and easiest travel insurance. Applied and no problem overall experience was fantastic as I didn’t need to claim.

The only feature that was disconcerting when purchasing the policy was the various prices for the same policy dependent upon how one accessed the site and the discount code one had to apply.

We always use Tick Insurance as it’s easy cheap and we have never had a problem .
We use Tick for all our holidays ....

happy with the affordable premiums and ease of completing quote and final purchase, but a bit frustrated when needing info. online chat not always available and emails take a while.
Need bit more clarity re meaning individual or family policies as both allow you to include numerous names, doesnt stop you from finalisisng purchase...still confused actually. And it doesn't mention anywhere about the 10% discount for family policy. What is the difference if it's down as individuals apart from discount? Thank you. Regards

Seems you are covered for natural disasters just not if it happened 2 years ago. So read everything carefully.so I am guessing my review won't be published.

We booked with Tick for our last trip to Bali. It was so easy to get the amount of coverage that we needed. We have booked them again for our next holiday in May

If you are going on a cruise this is a good product, and if you have preexisting conditions the increase in premiums is reasonable.
