Tick was awesome to deal with. Purchased couples insurance instead of two people travelling. Emailed. Quick response and solution. Refund was next day.

My husband and i have used tick many many times We have done 17 cruises and told many people of the way tick dealt with a claim we made and friends have now used tick when other insurers would not give them insurance because of age or pre existing medical conditions

Unfortunately and sadly. I had to cancel my trip of a lifetime. My claim was dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner.

Accepted my claim in full without any dispute from either party. Only criticism was the slow payment after notifying me of Tick's acceptance of my claim.

I needed to contact Tick while overseas. I wanted to know what I was covered for if I cut my holiday short to return home for a family funeral. I called the emergency number and hung up after 20 expenseive minutes on hold. Then I tried emailing them but, still had not received a reply by the time I had returned home 4 days later. It was now too late but, I wanted to register my disatisatisfacton so, I emailed again. I finally got a reply several days later. However, the call centre staff although pleasant and polite, just did not understand what I was trying to say, at all. Clearly they are only trained to deal with claims, as they kept telling me to lodge a claim. I was in Sri Lanka at the time of the terrorist bomibings so, luckily it wasn't a serious emergency. I would not recommend them. In fact I would say do not use them!!!!!

Took forever to receive claim, asked for too much documents and kept repeating and asking the same document. Under paid the claim and then refused to call or email back. I have contacted consumer affairs to re evaluate claim. Worst ever insurance for customer service

We had a claim the first time we used Tick and were very pleasantly surprised to receive our refund quickly and with no fuss.
We have recommended Tick to all our travelling friends and have returned to them ourselves for an upcoming trip.We are customers for life.

Return customer with with Tick Travel Insurance; very competitive; offered an additional cover for natural disasters, very helpful when travelling to Bali. Quote was extremely reasonable. Fast and efficient process to obtain insurance. Let's hope I don't have to make a claim.

I travelled with my partner to the island of Lombok, Indonesia, along with my partner and unfortunately fell very ill on the day we were due to leave. I ended up in the hospital, which meant we needed to delay our flights and find an extra night’s accomodation. As we both had used points for our holiday and booked separately, my partner and I had purchased insurance from different providers: QBE for myself and John went with Tick. QBE were wonderful throughout the process- providing my partner with support and advice with an Australian on the phone at 7:30pm sat night while I was monitored in hospital. My partner tried to contact tick, but could not even get through to lodge a claim as it needed to be done during business hours. I don’t know what we would have done if I were the one who had purchased Tick insurance! QBE assigned us a travel agent to help us with flights etc and lodged the claim for myself on the spot. I didn’t even have to pay my hospital bill. Once back home, QBE paid out my claim (minus 100$ excess) within a week. Unfortunately, John’s extra flights and accomodation had to be claimed through his own insurance (Tick), so we also lodged a claim for John via the Tick website. It’s been a month- we’ve provided all documentation and still haven’t even had John’s case even looked at! It is worth mentioning Tick have a 200$ excess on their claims. All in all, Tick were very easy to purchase insurance from, and they are very cheap, however when it comes to actually needing to lodge a claim you have very little assistance. I do not recommend Tick.

The cost was so much less than other companies but covering all the same aspects very impressed by this policy is for next years trip so hopefully I don’t need to make a claim but if I do hope it is easy

I've used tick insurance for the my 4 overseas trips and by far it the best value and covers all my requirements. definitely recommend

Have been dealing with you for some time now and find you very affordable (would not be able to afford to travel with the inflated prices of other insurers). I have only had a minor claim last year and was very speedily resolved, many thanks
