Unfortunately I did have to make separate hospital emergency, and loss claims, during a trip to Vancouver. Service on both claims was professional and prompt, and will not hesitate to use InsureandGo for future travel insurance and peace of mind.

first time I made a claim in 4 years if using Insure and Go as I lost my sunglasses and it took 3 weeks for them to come back and say there weren’t covered.

I had to cancel my trip due to an illness that needs surgery. Months after taking out travel insurance I became very ill and had to cancel my trip. I got a letter from the doctor that said that my symptoms started well after the date of my policy started and that I am too unwell to travel and need to have surgery. I provided the letter along with all of my cancellation documents and receipts to prove payments. My claim is only $2300 and they are drawing out the process for no reason! They have now asked for my medical records for the past 5 years as if they don’t trust my doctor’s letter or me!! And to make matters worse, they have even prolonged the time it takes to investigate my medical records by not even paying the invoice to receive the report. I’m stressed enough being sick and not being able to go on a holiday that I had planned 12 months ago let alone having to deal with this! It’s been 6 weeks and I’m still waiting, not 10 days like they had indicated it would be dealt within!

During our past trip to the USA I got sick and had to go to the emergency room. We end up putting the bill on our credit card and were worried about getting the money back. When we got back to Australia we filed our claim and with-in 3 weeks we had the money back in our account. We would use Insure and go again!

friendly staff, they understand your situation when things have turned out bad and i had no issues when i made a claim due to cutting my trip short, i will not go to any other company for travel insurance and also told my friend to go with Insure and go as there prices are very reasonable

Sadly I had to make 2 claims on my holiday 1 for delayed baggage and the other for a item that I lost. Their claims handler kept asking for the same information after it had been provided, they also failed to grasp the exact nature of my complaint and declined it even after numerous attempts at me trying to explain it. I ended up having to lodge a dispute with AFCA

Call centre located in Manila, not Australia. I was informed that not one single staff member has English as a first language. Currently nearing 300 emails between us since I became ill in Romania. Failed to heed my warnings that if I did not see a doctor urgently that I would become very ill. Would not allow me to move from a hotel where I could get no food. So.. ended up with pneumonia, no food for 3 days. Moved from hotel to hotel over the past 5 weeks as they kept expecting me to leave Romania immediately a doctor sees me and the hotels are frequently booked out. Inept in the extreme. Last hotel had cockroaches, current one smells of sewerage. I am forced to stay in the hotels they book. The company they use to provide services in Romania is located in Greece and is equally as inept. I had to threaten Consular intervention, legal action and publicity via my family in order to get any action from InsureandGo at all. Had I allowed them to organise anything for me in the time frame they wanted I would have died. As it was, the medical treatment arranged by them was sub-par and did not cure my pneumonia. I relapsed. Their failure to organise themselves has cost their company far more than if they had a case management process for complex issues. Their reliance on front line call centre staff to manage me has also caused me a far worse illness, money and stress than was necessary.
Someone at InsureandGo needs to examine what happened and use my terrible experience as a way of improving practice. They lose money by maintaining current processes and create very dissatisfied customers along the way. An apology would be good too.

Easy on line application. Existing medical condition was covered for a low extra fee. Much cheaper than our usual insurer’s quote.

I haven't had to make a claim yet, but I've just bought my third policy with InsureandGo. Very easy to order the policy online, a simple process to declare medical issues, also online, and there are often discounts advertised.

Had my items stolen by forgetting them on a counter tried to claim only to be told I shouldn’t had forgotten them

Found the 'insure and Go' website easy and quick to use. With advent of chasing another couple of the bigger insurance organisations. 'Insure and Go' provided comparable cover at a cheaper price. Here's hoping the after sale service is as good should we need to make a claim!
