They are so good in every way that I have stopped comparing them with other companies offering travel insurance and simply "GoandInsure" with them.

we have insured our next trip with insureandGo, using their specific time limited cover, which we have used once for europe early in 2022( no claim) and once in Australia (mid 2022), where we had a Covid interruption and claim. because the claims response was well handled, albeit limited under the policy, we have renewed for our next trip early next year.

Took out a Gold policy under the family category for 4 of us. The excess said $200, I assumed this was for a claim made on behalf of my family.

We had all sorts go wrong on our trip, the usual crappy Jetstar cancelling and amending flights all over the place, paying hundreds of dollars on accomodation when we weren't even at our destination due to cancelled flights. Numerous extra airports to transit, numerous added expenses for meals, drinks, taxi's etc.

When I enquired into making a claim I was told that the $200 excess is charged for EACH PERSON for EACH and every INCIDENT. No where does it say this under the terms on the page when you are booking and selecting your excess selection. How convenient.

For us to claim for 4 seperate incidents throughout our New Zealand holiday, we would be up for $3200 in excess fees to cover around $800 in additional expenses/claims. I sent an email to them several weeks ago advising that they need to change their website to clearly show that the excess relates to each person and each claim. Nothing has changed of course, especially when it works in their favour when people change their mind about making a claim after discovering this con. Non transparent robbing scammers!

Never saw it again.
Spent weeks on the phone to airline (United), no luck.
Spent months claiming with InsureAndGo. No luck
GOLD policy.
AFCA investigating, now 6 months. Keep away from them !!!!!!!

I have submitted two genuine claims this year and both have been denied for silly reasons. Despite my circumstances falling within the policy wording, my claim was denied. I contacted AFCA, who agreed that my claim is valid and within the policy wording however Mitsui Sumitomo (the underwriter) still denied my claim.
I guess they need to make their money somehow, but my scamming customers and not paying genuine claims; it an appalling business practise.

InsureandGo have still not reviewed my claim submitted over 2 months ago. I’ve not had any correspondence from them in over a month and a half, even after continually following up every week. They continue to ask for information that I cannot possibly give them (ie a serial number from a stolen iPhone which I do not have as it is STOLEN). I’ve provided ample other evidence such as police reports, screen shots of find my phone, and receipts and they seem fixated on being provided a serial number that I cannot access. Absolute rubbish service and I would never recommend them to anyone

Great value but does not cover much. Remember to read the fine print! Had to wait over 2 weeks when submitting a claim only to be declined! Made me look for receipts and stuff for a whole day and wasted my time. If I knew there were so many clauses... wouldn't get it! Also took time to write a dispute but same result.. what a joke!

Made a claim 4 weeks ago and still no answer and not responding to my follow up emails.
Have sent a complaint to AFCA.
You should do the same if they muck around with your claim.
Mine was a simple straight forward claim for a mobile phone screen that was damaged during travel.

I had a broken finger while travelling. I spent over $500 in consultations, exams and rehab. I have supplied all documents, it's been 6 weeks and I still have no response. I have been on hold for over 5 hours and have sent over 20 emails. It's been a nightmare, they have no customer service! I feel tired and defeated.

I had a finger fractured while overseas. I have made claim 30 days ago. I have called and emailed many times. the website says the claim session of the website is having issues and suggest people call or email. I have been on hold calling internationally over 4 hours and still no response. I have emailed their assistance (the email suggested) more than once and still no response.

We paid $238.89 for a 4 day cruise policy for a cruise cancelled at the start of the pandemic. After months of back and forth, they offered us $21 refund. My daughter and my son also lost their money for the same cruise. Please note our other policies with Covermore were refunded in full. Don't insure with Insure and Go, if you do your money will go. Level of trust = 0.

The most unethical, disgraceful company I have even had the misfortune to pay money to. Months of providing supporting documentation for our claim to 5 different people all denying the claim. Even though it met THEIR criteria. Finally after referring our claim to disputed claims department an agreement to pay. Haha fooled again, still no payment. No response to phone calls and emails. Nothing but crickets. Had we been able to travel and something happened, imagine what the response would have been. I hate to think.
