To anyone looking for travel insurance this year I would recommend against @InsureandGoAU as they DO NOT cover cancellation by airline (with a top tier insurance policy) even though their website claims they do

Insure and go top tier coverage does not cover natural disaster. This means anything even slightly resembling natural disaster they will knock back the claim. This has been a very expensive experience and the claims process is extraordinarily long. Poorly run company who prey on the people they are meant to provide protection for.

Insure and Go quite happily took a £2,500+ travel insurance premium from my grandmother, however, when she fell ill and sadly passed away in Panama a few weeks ago they provided zero support or assistance - and still to this day! As you can imagine the hospital and repatriation costs have been significant with the family having to foot the bill, meanwhile insureandGo have just stalled throughout the process with terrible customer service. This experience has only added undue stress for the family when grieving the lost of our grandmother/mother/wife.

Have used INSUREANDGO for several years for annual multi trip as well as single trips including cruising! Found pricing to be good and have only made one claim. It was handled professionally and claim settled in no time!

I had realized when I had purchased my insurance that anxiety was a medical condition so I had to change my policy.
Anna made this more than easy, her customer service was second to none. She made whatI though may be a tough phone call easy and because of this I would definitely recommend this copy to others

Purchasing InsureandGo online was very easy and very affordable I have used InsureandGo before and will use again as we have a cruise next year

Have had nothing but great service here including a claim when we were unable to travel due to my husband becoming very unwell

My husband and I both have pre existing medical conditions and have never been refused coverage with Insure and Go for all our conditions. I had to claim due to Covid related cancellations and all my travel expenses were covered and I even had an option to put the insurance policy into credit to use at later date as we were able to put all our travel plans on hold until we could travel again. Very easy to deal with , great customer service. I always feel confident in my travel insurance when covered with insure and GO. Highly recommend.

I have insured with Insure & Go several times. It's very easy to take out a policy and very cost competitive, BUT trying to get a claim paid is another matter. I took out a domestic policy specifically as it highlighted COVID cover. Unfortunately, my husband caught COVID on the way to Perth by train, so we were immediately locked in our hotel room for 7 days, unable to take any tours we had booked, thus missing our holiday entirely. I rang Insure & Go and was told we had a valid claim. I then commenced the arduous task of completing forms, uploading documents, speaking with many different staff. Because we had prepaid our accommodation, their argument was that we weren't out of pocket. Of course we were - being locked in a hotel room is not a holiday - we had to pay for another 7 nights accommodation elsewhere to get a holiday later. They also wouldn't pay airline charges for changing flight dates either, as Insure & Go doesn't cover losses if a travel company cancels a tour due to government policies - in our case, the COVID lockdown in Western Australia..... even though Insure & Go specifically advertised we were "covered for COVID". There are so many exclusions in their policies, I would definitely not recommend them. After 9 hours of work over a three month period, my claim was rejected. Also, a few years ago I insured with them for a trip to India - that time, again after many hours preparing my claim for $1,500, it was rejected due to a clause stating that a domestic flight has to be more than 24 hours late (!!) before the claim is valid. (Our domestic Indian flight was three hours late, thereby missing our connecting flight to join a tour, so in that case we were definitely out of pocket. I would think a 5 star rating should only be given if you have had a claim paid fairly, not just that the policy was easy to take out and the staff are friendly. With so many loopholes in the policy, I couldn't possibly recommend this to anyone.

Unfortunately, my husband developed serious medical issues during the last 3 years. Both are now under control.....but naturally the insurance premium will be high. However, INSURE & GO are one of the few companies who will insure despite these issues. I want to be truthful and NOT take any chances. The premium is high, but peace of mind & protection are more important :)))

It was relatively easy to navigate the site, but the technical difficulties on the Insurer's side lessened the overall experience.
I was also unable to edit the medical conditions before making the payment, so had to start the quote virtually from the beginning. The policy otherwise is a really good value for money, compared to others.
