I used Fast Cover Travel Insurance for a trip to Queenstown, New Zealand in July 2013 for a ski trip.

Being a 31yo female from Sydney, there were lots of options, but I had received good reviews and checked out their website.

The website was easy to use, and easy to get a quote. The ability to add extra snow protection was great - and was only a small additional fee, that gave me LOTS of cover.

There were a choice of easy-to-understand policies which were really comprehensive and great value for money.

Unfortunately, I had to make a claim after my flights cancelled due to snow in New Zealand. I called them up straight away (after hours on a weekend) and their friendly claims team were helpful an professional and gave me all the information I needed.

Upon submitting my claim on my return my claim was paid promptly and without any questions or hassles.

I had such a great experience, that I've just purchased travel insurance again from Quick Cover Travel Insurance for my next holiday and feel very assured knowing that if anything goes wrong (hopefully it wont), that I will be taken care of once again.

When travelling to India a few months ago, I suffered from a severe Asthma attack. Thank goodness I had the Fastcover insurance. They paid all the medical expenses and the claim process was extremely smooth and stress-free. Now with Fastcover, I can travel freely without worrying about my Asthma.

My experience with Fastcover has been very disappointing. Before the journey, I was told that in case of any emergency the money would be refunded within 24 hrs. But it has been almost 6 months that I am following up with them for my rightful claim. Every time that I call up, I have to leave a recorded complain in their system which says that somebody will revert immediately, but to no avail. Last week, an apology letter was sent for the delay caused, but an apology won’t help. I need my money back.

I had heard about Fastcover insurance and decided to take a policy before my trip to New York. I went through the entire process and everything was finalised but at the last moment they realised that because I was already away from Australia, I could not be covered as they only cover journeys that commence and end in Australia. Complete waste of time!

I travelled to Europe last month. On a friend’s suggestion, I took the Fastcover insurance just before leaving. It was really quick and hassle-free to get insured. During the trip, I fell really ill and was hospitalised. That’s when Fastcover came to my rescue and everything was sorted out. Thank you Fastcover.

I bought the Fastcover policy on my friend’s suggestion but I must tell you that I am truly disappointed with their services. I lost my baggage en route to the states and have since been calling them for the claims. There has been no response from their end. Very upsetting and frustrating!

I have asthma, but not very frequent. However, when I went to Egypt, I had asthma attack and needed medical assistance. Fastcover covered my medical expense as stated in their policy. I like their policy which takes some of the pre-existing medical conditions into consideration, unlike the other insurance providers and makes travel for people like me easy and convenient.

I was on my way back to Australia after a nice long vacation from Hawaii. My on my return, due to bad weather, I had to remain in Hawaii for more than 48 hours. Fastcover extended my policy cover free of charge till I returned back and reimbursed me for the additional accomodation and expenses like meals. I like their service and would definitely approach them for further trips.

I wanted to get cover for my trip to Japan, Indonesia, China and then to India. However, because I am going to Japan, I had to get the Worldwide policy which is a lot more expensive because Japan is not included in the Asia policy. I do not understand why Japan is not included in the Asia policy, clearly Japan is located in Asia. I am not very happy to be paying more, but I had to do so to get covered for my trip.

The best thing about Fastcover is their “cooling-off period”. Unlike the other insurance policy sellers, Fastcover gives you the benefit of cancelling the policy which has already been purchased with a full refund. I had to cancel what I had already purchased due to unavoidable reasons and everything was done without any fuss!

I travelled with my mother to Florida about two months ago. There, she suffered an acute migraine attack and I had to pay all the medical expenses. I have been following up with Fastcover ever since but no reply. Whenever I call, I am made to wait for at least 10 mins before somebody answers. Then I am just told to fill up their online claims form. Till date nobody has reverted and I am still waiting for my money.
