Let me tell you something. And it's all good. If you are a Australian of a certain age (senior citizen) and are having a struggle to get covered for our upcoming holiday then look no further than this company. Great bunch of consultants who did nothing but help with all of my questions. What a service. You guys are the best. I will spread the word and that is a promise. Every insurance is great until you have to use it - then you find out how good it is or isn't. Unfortunately I did have to use it on a trip to Pakistan. They were easily contactable and the level of service they gave my stressed daughter (I was too sick to care at the time) was fantastic. The only negative was after they gave us flights to choose to come home on, we then found out, as my daughter was an adult, she should have kept traveling and the insurance would only cover my flight home. That did make for a stressful time as we then had to find and pay for the cheapest flights home in case we weren't reimbursed for her. All's well that ends well and they did cover her flight after a letter from the doctor and a letter from me. If you do need to get a doctors certificate, make sure you ask them what it should contain ie when sick, what wrong, medication/treatment given, instructions (unable to travel for two days...) etc with doctors full name address and an official stamp if possible - this would be the same for any policy with any company. They also covered the repair for a cracked iphone screen after a treking fall. Have already purchased another insurance policy with them for my next trip. Highly Recommended

The policy was extremely good value and very easy to set up over the phone, with no excess.
Unfortunately I became ill in January 2019 and am still having treatment. Fast Cover couldn't have been more helpful and my claim was paid in full within three weeks.
This was the first time I used Fast Cover but it won't be the last and I am telling all my friends too.

... and they even pay out too! The online claim form was a little long as it was one size fits all to cover every situation. However, they still paid my claim after one submission. I would rather the insurance remain inexpensive (and incredibly valuable) than have a more tailored claim process. I am happy to deal with a longer form in the rare instances when I might, unfortunately, have to claim.

Buying my travel insurance online was easy & clear! Very good price for more cover than the other company! Will recommend it for my friends

I found it very easy to purchase this cover for my niece for our upcoming trip. I wrote an email to Fastcover just after purchasing to query something about the policy and I received a personal response back from a representative very promptly answering my question. Very happy!

Myself and partner purchased a full comprehensive Duo Travel Insurance Policy to travel to Europe in late December 2017 for a five week vacation. A few days into our trip I fell violently ill in Paris. Still seriously ill, we pushed on the following day to try and meet our bookings. On reaching Munich I was immediately hospitalized in ICU with a life threatening viral infection that was shutting my organs down. I remained seriously ill for two weeks. We were unable to resume our travels. Lucky, we have taken out full comprehensive insurance. Think again. Whilst trying to deal with the stress of my deteriorating condition, my partner and mother (back in Australia) had to spend hours on the phone over the next 2 weeks dealing with issue after issue. Fast Cover’s refusals, denials and incompetence – far too many occasions to list, but you would be horrified. Returning to Australia we lodged their 12 page claim form with 80 pages of supporting documentation required. Then another game begins. At the end of every deadline, Fast cover request more information (most of which had already been provided). After 3 months, and requesting two subsequent reviews, we are still over $4,000 out of pocket. Be aware: Fast cover eventually agreed to arrange and pay for my partner’s accommodation to stay and care for me in Munich then deducted his accommodation expenses from the total cost of our prepaid bookings, claiming they are the same expense. They have refused to pay any food expenses for my partner claiming these are offset against my hospital cash payment benefit (nothing in their policy, but apparently they state it is the intent). Many other expenses, prepaid bookings and tours have not been reimbursed. And don’t bother reporting it to their so-called independent Internal Dispute Resolution Committee (Hollards, the Underwriter). They are permitted 45 days to review. Three minutes before the final deadline we received an email from Hollards stating “after a thorough review of your claim” the Committee are refusing to pay any further amount. Amazing, given that only 12 business hours earlier, the officer in charge of my case knew nothing about it and asked me to resend my correspondence. Fast cover clearly work on the premise of denials, refusals and stalling tactics in the hope you will give up. Not us. We will continue to pursue this matter with the Ombudsman and legally if we have to. We have never had the need to take time to write a bad review on a Company. Hopefully this warns you how seriously appalling and callous this Company is. We are considering doing an interview with A Current Affairs and will continue to publicly name and shame this Company. Do not insure with this Company or its Underwriter. Please spread the word.

One simple phone call - lovely helpful manner on phone. Fast, efficient and very friendly. Hardly put down the phone when a fully comprehensive quote appeared on my email with all details - all I had to do was fill in the details and method of payment and it was "fait accompli" . Thank you so much - you made it very easy for an elderly lady.

Cheap and affordable, customer service always great. Have used fast cover 4 times now and made a claim once and during the claims process it was fast and easy and had no problems at all.

I found Fast Cover Travel Insurances Policy to be absolute rubbish.Air New Zealand lost my luggage on route to Australia. Fast Cover wont cover It. Would not recommend to anyone. Unless you want to pay them for no reason.
