I was unsure of using Budget Direct at first but I trust them with my car insurance so thought I would trust them with my travel insurance too. Unfortunately I had my phone stolen within the first 2 weeks of my holiday. I filed a claim a few weeks later and the email commutation with Budget Direct was excellent. They were speedy with replies and very helpful. I had the Money for my claim before I even flew home. Thank you so much Budget Direct team, I'll be sure to pass on the good word and will be using you in the near future.

Tried to settle a claim while in Singapore and felt like the process took forever. Each time we had contact the different people we spoke to had to be reinformed of everything. We'd send all required documents and then the next person we speak to needs them sent again. One person would say one thing, so we make plans and then they change their mind. Painful company, like piling teeth when making a claim. Avoid!

Luckily I double checked to see if I would be covered with a Budget Direct policy for myself, if my adult daughter who has a pre-existing condition should become ill. The answer is no because I knew about her condition. Luckily nothing happened on past occasions when I took out the same policy not being made aware of the small print!

Never heard from them, nor saw the benefits - therefore I'm not sure what 'good' insurance is! I think more communication, an email to compare why certain insurance is better over others. That way you can compare what would be suitable for you.

Upon seeing the Captain Risky on television, I noticed that Budget Direct also offered Travel Insurance so I took a look. What I received was a wonderfully user-friendly website with plenty of support and aides to assist me in my journey. I called in to ask for an elaboration of a certain part of their product and the lady on the phone was friendly and informative. I'm thinking of going on a cruise next so I will definitely take up their insurance again in the near future!

We headed off to NZ not knowing whether we needed Travel Insurance or not but realised that a foreign country posed certain risks. Budget Direct were able to walk us swiftly through the process and ensure that our minds were at ease - exactly what we needed! Will definitely go with them next time! They're the best and their reputation precedes them.

I have never purchased travel insurance before but thought of Budget Direct because of my motor and home policies with them. The application process was very user-friendly and informative so I had complete peace-of-mind prior and during my NZ trip. I wanted to ensure that I was covered by a reputable company who weren't going to charge me through the nose and I got just that. Will recommend this to family and friends!

Not only did I get a great price for this product, the customer service and speed of response from Budget Direct was fantastic especially when I requested to extend my trip. I will go back to Budget Direct again when I next need travel insurance.

Did a few comparisons and found budget direct to be reasonably priced with good benefits that suits me. Will go with them again next time.
