Ive used 1cover for our last 3 cruises. Fortunately for us we've never had to put a claim in. 1cover have always been comparable in price to other companies when Ive been purchasing insurance.

Tried one other very big company. Nearly killed me. Price for insurance was more than business fare to N.Z. Wanted my health details back to the time i exited the womb. I tried to explain that I was visiting NZ not Mars. Didn't make any difference. Worst of all they did not laugh at any of my jokes. Can't do business with people devoid of a sense of humour.
See you again when I need insurance.

Purchased cover on arrival mostly to reduce my $3200!!!!! excess on car rental to $0:))). Simple mobile purchase in a couple field changes. Much cheaper than reducing excess through rental company and the additional benefits that come with travel insurance was a bonus. I drove around Tassie with road kill every 50m and three marsupials darted in front of me during my travels (they survived). For the excess reduction alone it is worth it.

Requesting for proof of ownership of a bag that was originally damaged is ridiculous given bag 2years old. Also cant get written confirmation from airline to advise weather delay on date means I cant make either claims. Pretty poor for a $400 claim on a $250 policy

I was extremely unhappy to receive a text message at 3.05 A.M. in the morning prior to my travel asking if i need to extend my policy. If that ever happens again i will be going elsewhere.

We always use 1 Cover because it is clear and simple to purchase, and its policy prices are low and its rental car benefit in particular, is better than its competitors.

I am disappointed as I contacted 1cover for advice as to whether I was insured for a rental car on May 7/17.
I did not hear back so therefore paid an extra $400.00 for insurance that I not find out was unnecessary. When I inquired yesterday as to whether I could be reimbursed, the answer was clearly no. I travel very frequently and will not consider this company again. Its disappointing as I have used this company several times in the past for when my children are traveling.

This was a really easy process and offered excellent value for money. Didn't have to make a claim but I'm sure that they'd offer the same level of service!

Some company's ran me around for months then found you guys sorted in less then a day, even with a pre existing med condition.

I don't insure with anyone else and as a freaquant overseas traveller can't fault such wonder price, service and piece of mind

Our Passports were lost , we sent them registered post to get visa. We then missed dates of travel and tour due to the time it took to get new passports. Small clause in insurance means we cannot claim for flights or tour. Very disappoint, thought that was the point of insurance.

We have used 1cover for several overseas epic journeys over about 10 yrs .... have had to make two claims in that time. The first claim was relatively minor and was extremely well handled.
Our last claim was a big one as we had to cancel our whole trip to Alaska and Sth. America 1 week out from departure, due to a sudden Cancer (stage 4) diagnoses for our Daughter inlaw. It took a while to get the relevant documentation together to prove that we had no prior knowledge of the event and a reasonable amount of too-ing and fro-ing .... but I must admit the gentleman whom we dealt with was always courteous and helpful. We eventually had success and our claim was paid in full very quickly. Ultimately very happy.
We will use 1cover again.
