I have used 1cover many times although have never made a claim so cannot really know how it would stand up then

I have been using 1cover for over 10 years and i book other people with 1cover and we only get 5 %discount If you want us to continue with 1cover we deserve a better discount. I am travelling in March 2018 overseas and I might change insurance companies. With the rep the I spoke to this time I asked a small plastic card with details and was sent a photo copy of my policy. That is a joke as I had already printed it out myself.

It's incomprehensible that this company can impose an age discrimination policy with regards the death of an immediate family member.

1cover is great. They cover multiple pre illnesses in the standard cover. Thankfully have not needed to claim very often but when I have the procedure was simple and I had no fuss getting paid.

You were endorsed by my son who travelled to Europe earlier this year. He had a mishap and was satisfied with the assistance he received.
I didn't have a claim but made an error on my return date that your girl adjusted in a capable manner.
Your charges for an OBE were very fair.

Great for peace of mind, but particularly if you are hiring a car. The costs the car rental suppliers want for reducing your excess is ridiculous.

I have used 1cover 4 times now in a row when I have travelled overseas. I find it is value for money and the coverage of the policy is good. Even though I have not had to make a claim it looks pretty straight forward. I even referred a work colleague this week to 1cover as she is travelling in the next 2 weeks overseas. She compared other products and went with 1cover.

Only gripe was the early text message reminding us to extend our policy if we were extending our holiday, we are on holidays people!

Hi there, the day before we were due to return, my daughter was sick. I was looking to speak to someone to get advice regarding my options if she was unable to fly the next day. I tried the "emergency" number that was on the voice message for after hours and the number did not answer, instead I got a recorded message asking me to leave a message. This was not an emergency as such, however, I was faced with not being able to travel home due to a sick child, and needed to understand my options - what if we couldn't fly - what would happen to our flights? Did I stay with her and the rest of the family fly home? Could we stay at the same accommodation or did we have to move? Did I need to travel to a doctor for a medical certificate? She was feeling too unwell to travel at that time. I was really worried about her. These were all questions I needed to know. I found that disappointing and thought to myself - what if this was a real emergency and I needed help immediately and I had to leave a message. So, as a suggestion for improvement, it would be great if it was very obvious what number to call from overseas when I took out the policy, so it was easy to find when under stress or pressure, and would be great to have a person to talk to - even if it was a paging service that advised me someone would be in touch within 15-30 minutes, etc.

We have just returned from a trip and happy to say we didn't need to make a claim. , but we have in the past and I Cover was excellent

I didn’t have to claim anything so cant fully comment on 1 Covers helpfulness when you really need it, however, for me not being a huge document reader, 1 covers phone communication was definitely appreciated :) I’ll use again. Thankyou.
