Most of my luggage was misdirected while travelling to England. I had chosen Plan D Worldcare travel insurance. I spent a lot of money due to this mix up. The carrier refused to accept it was their fault in writing. People at Worldcare refused to file my claim as I did not have the necessary documentation. I would not recommend this policy to anyone.

During my 2 weeks in Bali, my daughter got sick. She had Bali Belly on and off since the end of the 1st week and started to get worst. After a visit to the hospital in Kuta, the got some medication and felt better. When we got back to Australia, filled out the claims from and within days I got a confirmation that covermore had received my claim. They kept me updated throughout the claims process and I was really glad when they notified me that they have deposited the medical costs into my bank account. The process was simple and easy. No hassles.

While travelling in Greece I fell gravely ill and was hospitalized in intensive care. Allianz travel insurance claims had assured me that I would receive compensation for the hospitalization. After the claim was filed, the compensation that I received from them did not even cover a quarter of the expenses that I incurred! I would never recommend Allianz travel insurance.

My encounter with Worldcare travel insurance left me highly confused, just like the people who work in their customer service department. While filing a claim, I contacted their customer service hotline and regretted the decision immediately. Just filing the claim proved to be a huge task as I was constantly transferred from person to person and asked to fill an overwhelming number of forms. After filing, I received my reimbursement really quick. The claims process was a very unpleasant one.

The website was easy to use, got myself insured within minutes. The policies are cheaper than most insurers too.

My experience with Travel Insurance Direct has been truly terrible. My last trip to Adelaide was cut short my mom fell and was hospitalised with a broken bone at home. When I contacted their customer service for reimbursement I was asked to fill a lot of online forms and speak to a lot of people; in the end they informed me that my claim cannot be accepted because my mom was over the age limit for cover. That is ridiculous, as my mom was healthy until that mishap.

I use covermore everytime I travel overseas. What I like about covermore is that they provide cover for pre-existing conditions with minimal fuss. Communication is excellent. I had to make a claim once when I was in Malaysia. The full cost was reimbursed without any hassle. I was kept up to date on the claims process and received a cheque in the mail within 2 weeks. I never had a single issue with covermore.

I bought the Annual Multi-trip policy as I have to travel to India quite often on business trips. I now travel worry-free and eat whatever I like! Saves me quite a bit because I do not have to purchase additional insurance when I'm going on a personal holiday.

I instantly took a liking for their no nonsense and simple policy details. It has been 3 years since I have their Annual Multi Trip Plan insurance and I am very satisfied.

1Cover are an absolute pleasure to deal with and extremely helpful. All policies are great value compared to other providers and ease of purchase is made very easy through the website. When I was in Spain I ruptured a disc in my back. Through 1Cover I organised treatment, advice and eventually a flight home with no difficulty. Their help and attitude towards myself and the situation made a very painful and unnerving position much easier to deal with. I have used Columbus Direct a couple of times. I was really impressed by their level of customer service and fast response whenever I had to deal with them. There was an occasion where I had to contact the team when the airline lost our luggage, they were ready on standby to help me through the situation.

I have bought from TID time and time again because of their low price. When compared quotes from travel agents, their quote is always so much more expensive for the same level of cover. I have recommended TID to all of my friends travelling.
