Travel Insurance Reviews

We have been using 1cover travel insurance for all our travel insurance over the last few years & although we haven't had to claim thank goodness if the service is as good as we have experienced so far, i'm sure we will be happy.

I mainly got insurance for rental car excess cover. I did not need to make a claim but will use 1Cover again as it was very easy and competitive. I agree with another reviewer who suggests a loyalty program??

Have used 1Cover over the past few years for travel insurance. 1Cover have always been easy to deal with over the phone or online. Even when arranging insurance for my elder Mum, with doctor forms etc. Their pricing has always been competitive.

I had cause to make a Claim through 1Cover in Aug 2012 while on holiday in Thailand. I had become ill and been admitted to a local Bangkok Hospital. I rang the Emergency Assist number in Australia to seek assistance as to what I was required to do, the help that I received from the Operator was sensational, she went out of her way to assist and everything that she said would be attended to was done without haste and I was kept updated by telephone. On my release from the Bangkok Hospital, I was required to do nothing, everything had been taken care of by the local 1Cover representative. When travelling overseas this year, I had no hesitation in again taking insurance with 1Cover.

Easy to deal with and have received a discount as a returning customer which is always nice. Very price competitive. We have used several times now and fortunately we have never had to claim so we cannot comment on that process. Have also referred several friends to 1cover as we find they are good value for money.

I was very happy with the cover and service even though I had no claim lots of communicateion I wa a bit concerned about another review saying you had to pay up front if it was a large claim that may be a problem, so in future I may check that and maybe go with someone who just paid the bill forme

its hard for me to rate 1cover as i havent had to make a claim but after an extensive search to compare companies and value for your dollar 1cover beat all of the competitors by a mile.

Have used 1 cover every time we have travelled over seas. Never had to claim from them,so cannot comment on that side,but everything else 100% no hassles booking and paying etc. i do think they need maybe some sort of loyalty program where each time with no claims you get a further discount. if they do have this then i do not see it on website. Other than that i cannot fault, you have options. My thoughts are idiots if you do not get insurance if travelling over seas
