A friend referred me to NoWorries Insurance as they automatically covered cycle touring. Seems lots of insurers don't cover this?? Great value and my claim for my stolen camera was paid straight away. Would highly recommend.

The claims process was really easy and straight forward. I had damaged my phone on holidays and was able to lodge a claim easily. The customer service team was responsive and answered all the questions I had.

Firstly when I was told that there would be no excess charged due to my flight being cancelled, I was asked by a staff member for 100 dollars when submitting my claim. The claim itself took a month to complete and I am still awaiting payment. Also I was not told that whatever the airline pays for 1 nights accommodation is taken out of what you can spend with 1 cover.

I have used Columbus for all the overseas trips I have made for years and the price has always been one of the best value policies around. I have had only one small claim a few years ago and it was dealt with promptly.

Fastcover is easy travel insurance cover. It is economical and we have used it several times. I would recomend it to any traveller.

Website was simple and user friendly. The information was well displayed and easy to understand. The purchase process was really quick and hassle free. I was very satisfied with the whole process and the product in general.

Used Southern cross 3 times and was fine until i had to make a claim for a camera. Rate of depreciation used by Southern cross in their PDS stated as "reasonable rate" was 3 years on a camera compared to 7 years at others ( TID was one of these ). For example if I had gone with another company that also states "reasonable rates of depreciation" but uses 7 years as seems standard I would have been $616 better off. Tried to appeal to SCTI but they believe their rates are fine. This is only one example of their rates as the don't disclose what the rates are except for reasonable.Suggest using another company that does disclose their rates.
