Son targeted by pickpockets in Hanoi last month - paid within days of substantiating the claim.

The claims process was much easier than I had anticipated. I was particularly happy with being able to respond directly to an email that was sent out following an initial phone call rather than having to fill in a claims form.

Allianz offered good value travel insurance compared to other policies on the market, and it was very easy to buy online. I cannot vouch for the claims process as we (fortunately)did not need to use it. Being in my 70s, a lot of insurers had dramatic increases in price but Allianz was easy and relatively cheap.

Have had to chase up my claim after not hearing from 1Cover for over a month. Useless, expensive and didn't even provide advice when things have gone wrong during my travels.
