1Cover is a first choice - competitive and (according to friends) good to deal with in claims settlement. Very smart to email customers close to end date asking if extension of cover required.

The main issue I had was that I did not clearly identify how I could adjust the excess amount. Even after looking at my policy document is just says "Standard Excess" which is not transparent at all. Please advise what my excess is if I need to make a claim.

This would have to be the best insurance company i have had the experience to deal with. They were willing to listen to the problem we en counted and after a bit a correspondence backward and forward an outcome was determined. I will be and recommending Zoom to all friends and family when travelling overseas

We were traveling to Bali on a 17 day vacation with a 2 and half year old. In day 3 he started developing cough. We took him to a local doctor but he kept deteriorating and also developed a temperature. We got in touch with 1Cover to understand the process to be prepared and were given professional and caring guidance. We were also out through a travel nurse who gave care guidelines. We eventually had to hospitalize him and throughout the 1Cover team were in touch guiding us through everything. The claim was handled directly through the hospital and thankfully my kid recovered in a day of hospitalization. After that the 1Cover guys followed up to see if any further care was needed which we appreciated. All in all this was a silver lining to what could have been a real disaster. Will highly recommend.

I had a dental claim with Tick. It was attended to promptly and once all paperwork was submitted the claim was paid without fuss.

I unfortunately had to use my hire car excess cover.
Tick dealt with the issue with due diligence.
Thanks to them my out of pocket expenses were minimal.

I can not recommend tick travel insurance enough, I am so very thankful for the stress free and quick service I received when I returned from my cruise with a $5000+ medical bill. Thank you so much

I’ve been travelling for a while (5 years) and buying insurance as needed. My claim for 2 trips to the hospital for the same illness was rejected as my trip had already started...I hadn’t needed it travelling in NZ but Bali is obviously a different story. I did forget to buy it before landing in Bali but remembered pretty quickly on my first scooter ride and bought it immediately. Maybe I missed the fine print..still customer service was terrible, emails asking to add to my existing claim were ignored- and was given very vague answers, in pretty unprofessional emails. No signing off, or helpfullness or even a ‘hello’. Just ‘yes you can’.

Again, would not bother with insureandgo. Waste of time and money.

After responding to my claim, they verified my banking detail and deposited the money into my bank account. The whole process takes about ten days.

Have used Insure and Go several time and made my first claim recently. Process was simple, easy and relatively quick. Good communications and result!

The staff at 1Cover are brilliant. They were there every step of the way, they treat you like you are a friend of there's, for me this is extremely important.
I 100% recommend using
1Cover, don't waste your time researching, I have done this for you.
I've had experience with the staff at 1Cover, I wouldn't use any other travel insurer.

I got sick while overseas and was admitted by relatives in Emergency. Doctored treated well an in my opinion (now) excessive medical tests were conducted. But this company paid all the bills.
