We looked at plenty of quotes and value for money did it for us although a $101 for a kidney stone is a bit steep!!!

Having used TID's affordable insurance numerous times I was under the false impression that all would be well when I needed to claim.

I had 2 claims, 2 different policies and 2 different trips.

Both were a nightmare.

The first claim was when i travelled overseas, my mother was very ill at the time and for anyone that has seen the demise of a cancer patient you know it's challenging to put your life on hold not knowing when someone will pass.

So I flew, once I landed in Cebu, Philipines I found out that it was unlikely mum would make it even a few days.

So I advised TID the lady said of course it would be covered, booked a new flight for my hubby and changed my flight and just made it to Manila before I found out she had passed away in Sydney.

After a long drawn out process where i not only had to provide a death certificate but also was requested to provide DR's reports etc I was denied.

I went to Lloyds and lodged a dispute. I was denied again as apparently she was considered to be part of the traveling party even though she wasn't traveling!

Finally after going to the ombudsman and lodging a claim did I see any action.

I was eventually, after a lot of heartache and tears and frustrations partially reimbursed.

A year later I flew to Canada, broke my wrist and experienced the joy of claiming again.

Again this one had to go to the ombudsman and finally I was reimbursed.

So if you've been denied keep pushing as long as you are in the right...it's not fair how they treat you.

I sent an email to make a claim on delayed baggage, got no response from any one within the claims department.

I am unable to give a revue on any claims made on this policy as we were fortunate enough to have a trouble free holiday .
I will be using Zoom again for my next trip though for sure.

Didn't need to use insurance, however purchased due to hiring of car and this insurance was the best value for money and offered best value for car hire.

This the first time I’ve used this company found their prices very competitive, as we are older couple 76/89

After hours on internet over 3 days trying to get insurance for an overseas trip, I was about to give up & travel with none. As a 75yr young pensioner with asthma (pre-existing condition), it was too expensive or I was too old. Congrats Tick Insurance for covering all this in an easy & quick way.

Been using Insure and Go for years. My three (adult) 'kids' use it when they travel... Why wouldn't you!

Getting travel insurance for a 5-day trip was just too easy purchasing with 1Cover. Their policy covered Hire Car Excess to a higher amount than the hire car company wanted - for less than two days worth of their "excess reduction" charge... Plus, everything else I needed was covered in the policy. I'll definitely use 1Cover again - as I have in the past

The online quote system was easy to use and prompt, price was very good, comprehensive coverage with evacuation and luckily didn't need to make a claim.

Lucky didnt need to use this time, but very happy with the policy. Have used before and have had to make a claim which went through smoothly.

The application process was efficient and easy. The medical condition was resolved efficiently and quickly. The price was competitive. Luckily no claims need to have been made. Will use 1Cover again.
