I had the best experience with them! Used itrek for long term travel insurance and had to claim twice! First with an emergency trip home due to my brother in laws cancer diagnosis and resuming the trip and then again a few months later to race home just before he passed. The claims process was easy and not stressful and they were very caring and understanding. The claims were paid quickly too. They made a stressful and sad situation that little bit easier as they eased the financial strain. I will continue to use itrek for all future travel .

Pleasure to deal with, provided money back for a day of lost travel while travelling to Italy from Australia and missed activity. Very impressed.

For those willing to find competitive travel insurance, then add Tick to the list. Their prices are very good, and cater to the budget conscious and also to those wanting all the extras

Unable to go back and check details on the website once you get an emailed quote. Makes it hard if not everything is done in one go ~ quotes are valid for 30 days but who can remember exact details and I wanted to double check but could not do so.

After being a loyal customer for 4 years, countless trips and not a single claim - I finally needed to make a claim. I had always purchased the Gold plan, so felt comfortable with my claim because it includes lost items.

On a flight back from the US, and in my tired state, I left my laptop in the seatback pocket. Of course, the airline couldn't find it, so I had no choice but to make a claim as I need the laptop to run my own business.

I completed the online claim form to start the process but the claim process isn't simple. Firstly, I had to submit a 'Repair report' before I submitted my claim, which was a challenge because I couldn't send my lost laptop to be repaired.... because it was lost!

After my claim was submitted I had to wait 10 business days. During that time, I received no update. After I emailed to ask for an update I was told the claim would be processed within 5 days (that's 13 business days not 10). I thought great!

5 days later I received an emailing saying my claim had been.... rejected. The response went into great detail about why it wasn't approved. So, the claims team had spent 13 business days scouring through the conditions of the policy to see where I couldn't be covered. All for a claim that was under $2,000.

The lesson? It would have been better to save the money I had spent on travel insurance to pay for a replacement laptop. I shudder to think of what would happen if I had an emergency or a high dollar-value claim. Good luck with that!

I could have lodged an appeal but the reality is they wouldn't have changed their decision and it would only have been a further waste of my time.

If I do get a response from InsureAndGo, they will likely send a standard response about how they go to great lengths to explain the conditions of the insurance (Note: Not sure about the 'great lengths' part as they simply sent me a link to their PDS). The reality is the things they say you're covered for... probably aren't covered, or they will go to great lengths to find reasons for why your claim won't be paid.

I'll be looking for a different travel insurance provider as InsureAndGo has made me 'InsureAndStop'. I'd encourage you to do the same!

I have used and recommended 1Cover to family and friends, however I never have put a claim in till now.
You cant really review or know a company until you see their support and service. My flights were messed up coming back from the USA, so I put a claim in for my accommodation and within 1 week it was resolved "without fuss". I had all my documentation and evidence which made it so easy. Its good to see when you genuinely have a claim, that you are looked after.
I am again travelling overseas in September and have already bought another policy with 1Cover & have no doubt in recommending.

I get this cover every year for our family snowboard holiday. You won’t find a better product out there. Online purchase is very easy. Benefits is excellent and price is great.

I have gotten travel insurance quotes from other insurers which have been much higher and not really competitive. I particularly like the health screening section which asks highly relevant questions and sends a message that if a condition has been properly treated, you are not necessarily going to be penalised for it.

My partner and I have used InsureandGo for 3 overseas trips so far and have had nil issues. I was able to make 1 claim after cracking my brand-new phone while hiking in Sri Lanka. The claims process and support was superb!

As we have not made a claims it is hard to comment on this. Nevertheless, Zoom was very cost effective for us compared to other travel insurers.

It is a great travel insurance, really value of money, so easy to claim, and nice customer service all the time during the claim!
