I subm itted a claim and I showed how much came out in AUD. However 1Cover used their own 'exhange rate' and reduced it massively. I had to submit the same information at least 3 times and was treated like my claim was not legitimate. The excess on every seperate claim is also criminal. I will not longer take out Travel Insurance and will just use the complimentary Credit Crad Insurance. It is not worth the headache or the money

Purchased when holiday was booked. Easy to purchase. Piece of mind. Grateful not to have used it, better to be safe than sorry!

I chose 1Cover for cruise travel insurance. I read the PDS and was happy with the extra things they cover in comparison to other cruise travel insurance policies. I am glad I read and compared policies because our original cruise itinerary was changed due to the weather. I claimed 3 missed ports. The process was quick and easy and could be done using my mobile phone meaning I didn't need to wait until I got home. My claim was processed and accepted within 48 hours and payment into my account within 2 working days. I highly recommend using 1Cover

This company will do anything to weasel out of paying resonable claims. They have no care for the consumer. We became very sick on our honeymoon and had to return home and they wouldn’t cover our flights. They went to the length of paying a external mediation company $1500 in fees to deal with our complaint rather than paying us the $1700 that was owed for the flights. Disgraceful!

Rampant inflation in Argentina resulted in a general strike grounding most airlines in Argentina in late Jan 24. Extra night at Gran Melia wasn't cheap, neither the rescheduled flight on 25 th Jan. My wife and I have travelled extensively and this is the first occasion we have had to make a claim. Never did I doubt 1Cover or the cost of always taking comprehensive cover. Full refund of our claim. Time to book another holiday. Happy Phil

As a regular traveller 1Cover are my go to, they're fantastic communicators, competitively priced and always dependable. Just wish they had some kind of incentive program to reward that loyalty, or even just a discount for returning customers.

We had to cancel our planned trip due to a major health issue. The claim form was clear, it was easy to upload documents. I was contacted promptly when clarification was needed. Our GP also commented the form was easy for her to complete. The claim was finalised promptly. Very different to the experience I had with another company durin Covid-19.

I always use 1Cover for my travel insurance and being the first time I have had to make a claim. The process was easy and the customer service provided to me was outstanding. I can't thank Anthony enough for his help and support with requirements for my claim.

At first I thought the process was a bit over the top, but I fully understand the process. Responsive in their assesment. I will continue to use 1cover without doubt

We fortunately didn't need to use our travel insurance policy but it provided peace of mind for our travel to the USA - a country notorious for its high hospital costs. We used 1Cover on our trip to the USA last year as well and after reviewing other travel insurance cover options found that 1Cover provided a very competitive price with a high level of cover, so took out a policy this trip as well.

I found it easy to find the info I needed to work out if it was I wanted for my trip. A quick process too.

There are two major reasons for travel insurance, missed flights and medical. Lost luggage is an annoyance but you can deal with it.
I missed a connecting flight due to my first flight being delayed and they denied my claim. They have a vague clause that claims deniability if they determine the airline has control over your delay. There's no visibility on how they determine that. It's as close to a scam as I have seen, pity for me I didn't see it before I paid.
