Would like to see an option to enable the selection of any of the features for a personally tailored insurance package to better suit individual requirements. This can be in addition to the standard packages available.

Had to make a claim in regards to luggage lost then found . Explained what was required by me and claim paid in full. Excellent service

Tried to claim for trip not able to be undertaken to do the right thing for an injured pet that required emergency surgery who couldn't walk for 6 weeks post op who is still now having surgery. He had his 5th surgery yesterday and yet that is not enough of a reason to compensate on some flights to Bali. Disgusting. Animals are sentient beings especially the family pet for someone who is unable to have children.

I am not impressed that my claims were not valid as all my medical receipts were in French, Dutch and German. When you are on the road in Europe and you need medical assistance, you have to pay cash up front and obviously you are issued a receipt in their language. They do not issue them in english!I had claimed about 900 Euro on return, which was not valid because my receipts were not in English. InsureandGo expected me to provide them with all my receipts translated to English, which would incur more expenses. Surely they can have someone translate in-house. They are a travel insurance company after all.

Despite having to cancel our trip to the UK and USA only 2 days into it due to a medical emergency, InsureandGo were very helpful indeed in getting us back to Australia. Then, when we got back and made our claim for Trip Cancellation costs, they were prepared to pay the claim (in full!) in instalments to allow us to sort out the complications of cancelled bookings and Round the World airfares. I will definitely use them for our next trip!

Happy to take your premium, and when you have a VERY simple claim, you still have to fight hard to prove you deserve to get your money back. I would hate to have a difficult one as you are guilty and have to prove beyond doubt the claim is genuine.

Covermore covers more. Insure and go claim your hotel room is a public place once you check out. Left clothing in the wardrobe. This is covered with covermore but not insure and go. Also dropped my glasses over a bridge and they were unable to be retrieved and they wanted a police report. They weren’t lost or stolen as I knew where they were so how do you furnish a police report for that! So on both losses no payout. Claims rejected. Didn’t have to make a medical claim which is why we took out the policy so not sure how that would go. Don’t think I’d use them again

Denied claim as I left my iPad in the overhead locker on flight even though that is the airline rules in exit row seats.Not impressed had to follow up so many times for answers even though from beginning I told them what happened

We had a trip booked for a holiday but unfortunately had to cancel due to cancer diagnosis for my wife .The claim process took a little while but was eventually settled with a reasonable outcome for us. As we are both in our Eighties the price for the insurance was competitive with other offerings. We would use them if we manage another holiday.

I am a repeat Insure and Go customer. I have never made a claim so cannot comment on the claims procedure. The web-site is quick and easy to use however. it is not possible to extend a current policy on line and I had to make phone contact. First I could not ring out. A sales consultant rang me but as Telstra charges $3 per minute to receive calls, it cost me $18 to hear the consultant read out the same conditions i had accepted on-line. The whole process was protracted and annoying. There should be an "extend: option on-line to save all this inconvenience. It I need to extend in future I shall go to a different company.

This is the First time that I have dealt with this company, their website was easy and I will deal with them again.

So customer service once needing to make a claim was off shore and I couldn’t clearly understand the operator, I had gold cover and our flight was delayed 11:38 hrs in turn we missed our connecting flight by 23 hours to our final destination, we lost 2 days 1 night at our destination and have not been covered for our loss of accomodation or car hire approx $700 nor have we been able to claim our accommodation for a family of 5 children 2 adults at our hotel at the airport $750 alone. They have instead offered $100 pp totally $700 in compensation! Claiming our delay was not long enough to compensate. It falls far short of our personal outlay of $1600. Not happy Insure and Go. We did have to make a medical claim separately for Dr’s visit that went along smoothly. I will go with Covermore next time.
