I had to travel to New York for an Academic lecture and was recommended to take out insurance plan from Downunder by my boyfriend. It was a good decision, I lost one of my bags at the airport and was so thankful that my trip was insured. The claim process was very quick and simple. No hassle.

The backpacker plan by DOWNUNDER was my first experience getting insured and it was alright. All was required were my travel dates, destination, name and date of birth. It was simple and easy, didn't need to claim but I would consider them again in the future.

I purchased a few comprehensive plans for my bosses who were travelling for work. One of them had an lost his luggage during the trip. The claim experience was a painful one and there were sublimits for individual items which were well below the cost of the items and I had to face the music from my bosses as well for opting for an insurance policy of an unreliable company. Never again!

I am an avid backpacker and the backpacker policy by downunder insurance is perfect for me. It protects me from all the things that can go wrong and lets me enjoy all the adventures that come my way.

The experience was just fine but nothing out of the ordinary. The customer service was really slow and took ages to answer my query but the paperwork and the final formalities got over quickly.

I took out a domestic insurance policy for my mother, she was visiting our relatives interstate. It did not take me long to get the policy certificate and it put me at the peace of mind while she was away as the cover was comprehensive. Thankfully there were no dramas so we didn't have to put in a claim.

Before my last trip, when I was searching for travel insurance, I found Downunder via compare travel insurance. They had a plan that just suited me. It was very easy to get covered online and I purchased a policy within minutes. I rang them up just to check if they are a legitimate company and get a gauge of their customer service. I was quite impressed and will continue to use them for my future travels.

I am part of a third-generation family business and like everyone else travelling is a part of my work. We recently purchased an Annual frequent traveler plan that leaves out nothing. The added bonus is that if I choose to take my wife and kids on one of the work-cum-pleasure trips, they are covered under the plan too!

I opted for the Downunder Comprehensive International Plan and am most satisfied with their service. I was scheduled to go to Austria last week but the trip got cancelled due to some family emergency. Their service was fast and courteous and I received my claim promptly.

I was lucky enough to win a competition at a travel expo in 2010 and earn $500 of insurance from Downunder Insurance. I've since gotten a policy from them for a European trip and also for an upcoming New Zealand trip, and both times they have been extremely fast, friendly and professional. I've never had to wait more then a day for a reply to an email, and organising a policy has been fast and hassle free. A big thank you to them!
