How many people can I include in my policy?

You can purchase insurance for parties of two online. Call up Citibank to see how many additional people can be added to your policy.

Am I covered if I go on a cruise?

No, Citibank does not cover for cruises.

Am I covered for skiing and my equipment?

No, Citibank does not cover for winter sports.

Are kids covered for free?

Yes, so long as they are dependent on you, younger than 18, travelling with you and named on your insurance certificate.

Can I pay to reduce or cancel my excess?

No you must pay an excess of $100 for international plans or $50 for domestic plans

What additional extras are there?

Citibank travel insurance provides senior travellers with a variety of different pre-existing conditions.

Am I covered if my tour company collapses?

No, Citibank does not cover for insolvency.

I’m not an Australian resident- can I buy cover?

No, you must be an Australian resident in order to purchase cover.

What size moped or motorbike am I covered to ride overseas?

You are covered to ride a motorcycle with an engine capacity of 200cc or less. You must also hold a current Australian Motor Cycle Licence to be covered.

How long is their single trip cover for?

12 months.

Can I extend my policy from overseas?

If you decide to lengthen you trip you can do so for up to 12 months. Call Citibank on 13 24 84.

Do they cover for my rental vehicle excess?

Yes, Citibank will cover for up to $5,000 in rental vehicle excess.
